Vessel is currently load ready in the US Texas gulf and is fixed for 24,000MT NS Wheat for Dar es Salaam under GCI/SEAF Charter Parties dated 30 October 2015. GCI/SEAF-24,000 MT NS Wheat is scheduled to load at CHS Myrtle Grove, LA with Laycan of 24 November - 3 December 2015
Vessel’s ETA Durban from USG is appx. 26 days from completion of loading/sailing last US load port wp/agw/uce.
Vessel’s eta Douala from Dar es Salaam is appx. 16 days from completion of discharging/sailing Dar es Salaam wp/agw/uce.
If USAID – 15,000 MT upto 15,750 MT Sorghum for Durban (RFP no. AC15-0126) is fixed in combination with WFP – 8,540 MT Sorghum for Douala (So#5000285853) and WFP declares Las Palmas as optional disport, per WFP tender requirements, Las Palmas to be first port of discharge and vessel’s estimated schedule to be as follows:

Vessel’s eta Durban from Las Palmas is appx. 17 days from completion of discharge/sailing Las Palmas wp/agw/uce
CARGO: 15,750 MT Min/Max Bulk Sorghum plus bags under RFP No. AC15-0126 as part cargo
In combination with
8,540 MT Bulk Sorghum plus empty bags of WFP for discharge Douala option Las Palmas and
24,000 MT Bulk NS Wheat for GCI/SEAF for discharge at Dar es Salaam, Tanzania under separate Charter Parties. SEAF accepts owners request for adding above USAID and WFP completion cargo
Empty bags must be transported freight free on the same vessel as the cargo of Bulk Sorghum.
Any other part cargo(es) are subject to USAID approval.
The two cargoes of Bulk Sorghum for USAID and WFP may be commingled as per RFP AC15-0126..
LAYDAYS: November 24- December 3, 2015. Owner to provide 14 days pre-advice of vessel readiness to load.
LOAD PORT: One safe berth, One safe port USGulf Texas port for both USAID and WFP cargoes.
LOADING TERMS: Scale Load as per USAID Freight RFP AC15-0126.
DISCHARGE PORT(S):
Durban, South Africa .
At USAID, charterer’s, option discharge at Mombasa, Kenya; and or at charterer’s option Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania; and or at charterer’s option Nacala, Mozambique and or at charterer’s option Beira, Mozambique and or at charterer’s option Maputo, Mozambique and or at charterer’s option Fort Dauphin, Madagascar and or at charterer’s option Toamasina, Madagascar. USAID shall declare the discharge port(s) option ten (10) days after vessel sails from the load port.
DISCHARGE TERM(S):
A) At Durban the cargo is to be discharged under Full Berth Terms, no demurrage/ no despatch/ no detention, with USAID option for owners to have cargo
I) Bagged and delivered to Free On Truck Door charterer’s/receiver’s designated warehouses at
SDV Warehouse , 29 Voortrekker Street, Jacobs Durban 4052, South Africa
And/or
II) Bagged and stacked on to receivers’ conveyances at end of bagging line in the port of Durban, South Africa.
B) At Mombasa the cargo is to be discharged
I) Under Full Berth Terms. No demurrage/ no despatch/ no detention with USAID option for owners to have cargo bagged and stacked on to receiver’s conveyances at the end of the bagging line in the port of Mombasa, Kenya
II) USAID option Free Out terms
A) Cargo to be discharged at the GBHL berth basis Free Out terms with the following applicable discharge rates:
- 9,000 MT per WWDSSHEX EIU for self-trimming bulk carrier.
- 7,000 MT per WWDSSHEX EIU for tweendeckers/ non-self-trimming bulk carriers.
- 3,000 MT per WWDSSHEX EIU for converted container vessels and vessels with part cargo in same hold.
B) Cargo discharged at conventional berth basis Free Out terms the following discharge rate shall apply:
- 600 MT per working hatch per WWDSSHEX EIU.
On Free Out terms Master to file the vessel’s Notice of Readiness to discharge to the receiver and or their agent office between 0800 to 1600 hours Mondays through Fridays and laytime shall commence at 0800 hours next working day. Notice of Readiness filed on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays shall be deemed tendered and accepted on the next working day.
At Mombasa time between 1700 hours Fridays or days preceding holidays to 0800 hours on Mondays or days after holidays shall not count as laytime, even if used. Time used for opening /closing of hatch(es) not to count as laytime. Any shifting of vessel due to vessel configuration and or size shall not count as laytime
C) At all other discharge ports discharge to be basis Full Berth Terms no demurrage / no dispatch / no detention with USAID option to have cargo bagged and stacked on to receivers’ conveyances at the port of discharge.
