Notice Inviting Bids
PROJECT: City of Prescott HVAC Annual Preventive Maintenance Program
DESCRIPTION: This project generally consists of the HVAC preventative maintenance at multiple City facilities with various equipment models and needs. Tasks within the scope of work include cleaning condenser coils, checking for refrigerant leaks, inspections of electrical service, replacing burned contactors, and changing filters among other common HVAC preventative maintenance tasks. Facility locations are all within the City of Prescott proper and include over twenty facilities. These facilities are located throughout the City including some on Sundog Ranch Road and other facilities on Marina, Virginia and Gurley Streets, to name a few.
BID OPENING: Thursday, November 29, 2012, at 2:00 PM
MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING: Friday, November 9, 2012, at 10:00 AM, at the City Transfer Station Offices located at 2800 Sundog Ranch Road, Prescott AZ.
Sealed bids will be received at Prescott City Hall, addressed to the attention of the City Clerk, City of Prescott, 201 S. Cortez Street, Prescott, AZ, 86303, before 2:00 PM on Thursday, November 29, 2012 for furnishing all plant, materials, and labor and performing work for HVAC annual preventative maintenance for multiple City of Prescott facilities.
The outside of the bid envelope shall indicate the name and address of the bidder, and shall be marked: “Bid: City of Prescott HVAC Preventative Maintenance Program.” All bids will be opened and read aloud at 2:00 PM on Thursday, November 29, 2012 in the Prescott City Hall Council Chambers.
Any bid received at or after 2:00 PM on the above stated date will be returned unopened. The City of Prescott reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, and/or some or all of the alternates bid, and waive any informality deemed in the best interest of the City and to reject the bids of any persons who have been delinquent or unfaithful to any contract with the City of Prescott.
