User POI

Space D3: record a user POI

E (D15) then U (D136), then locate user POI to edit and press enter:

Backspace Dots 2356: erase current user POI

Locate POI detail field to be edited, then press

Backspace C (D14): to edit POI details, then key in the new information and

press enter.

Space E (D15): exit edit mode


Destination Travel-Chapter 7

Set a POI as a destination:

F (D124), Space F (D124), Backspace F (D124), or Backspace D3: find POI

Space D (D145): set POI as destination

Set an address as a destination:

Space S (D234): select address to set as a destination

Follow BN GPS prompts to search by state, city, zip code, history, or favorites

May be prompted to write state name, then Enter

Write city name, then Enter

Write address number and street name, then enter

At prompt “Address actions menu,” press D to set destination

Destination Information:

D (D145): destination distance and position

M (D134) then D (D145): multiple repeat destination announcements

Automatic Routes-Chapter 8

Creating routes

Space F (D124) or Space S (D234): set a destination to a POI or address

R (D1235) then V (D1236): create vehicle route, or

R (D1235) then P (D1234): create pedestrian route

Following routes

Begin moving to establish line of travel

Go from waypoint to waypoint, will announce cross streets and turns

"Arrived near destination" announcement

R (D1235) then R (D1235): reverse pedestrian or manual route

Saving and Opening routes

R (D1235) then C (D14): close route

Customizing Route Information

Manual routes-Chapter 10

Creating routes

R (D1235) then O (D135): open/create route

G (D1245): check GPS fix

Space K D13): record waypoint, then enter S (D234) for straight, R (D1235) for right, or L

(D123) for left to describe the direction of travel

R (D1235) then M (D134) then P (D1234): record a POI as a route waypoint

Saving routes

R (D1235) then C (D14): Close route

R (D1235) then S (D234): Save route

Space with E (D15): exit and save route

Editing a route

R (D1235) then O (D135): open/create route

E (D15) then R (D1235): to enter route edit mode

When a manual route is in edit mode, the following commands are available:

Space D4 or Space D1: move forward or backward through waypoint list

R (D1235): rename waypoint

E (D15): erase waypoint

P (D1234): add waypoint to user POI file

D (D145): edit description


Virtual Mode-Chapter 11

General Commands

V (D1236): toggle between GPS and Virtual Modes

Space V (D1236): set current POI or waypoint as your Virtual position

I (D24): distance between GPS and Virtual position

Space I (D24): information about mode or status

Space D (D145): set current POI or Explore position as your Destination

Enter B (D12): set both virtual position and destination to a POI or waypoint
