The Project Scope has been created to perform abrasive blasting and painting for the customer at Wyee Point.

The project scope details(Section 2.2) are the basis for determining the success of the project.Data collected during each process shall be compared against the project scope details to confirm project completion.If a process is determined to be unsuccessful, Metal Services Australia Pty Ltd shall re-process that work again at no additional charge to the Customer. Metal Services Australia Pty Ltd will accept no liability or costsassociated with time delays irrespective of which party caused such delays.The Fixed Price for this Project is $18,900 ex Tax subject to variations as specified within this Project Scope.

2.1PROJECT SCOPE OBJECTIVES

To complete all work within the project scope detail (Section 2.3) as specified.

2.2CONFORMITY

It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that this project scope meets all of the requirements.

2.3PROJECT SCOPE DETAIL

2.3.1LOCATION

The Power Line Tower is located approximately

150m off Rutley’s Road, Just south of Mannering

Point Island.

Proposed Fencing has been shown in Red

Proposed Signage Locations are shown in Green

Optional Marine Boom is shown in Blue

2.3.2SITE ENVIRONMENTAL AND SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

2.3.1.1 Site Induction

1 Hour (All employees assigned to this project, sub-contractors and Customer representatives) conducted by Metal Services Australia EOH&S Officer.

2.3.1.2Environmental and Risk Assessment

Complete Environmental and Risk Assessment of Site prior to commencing

2.3.1.3Safety Checks

Check that all equipment entering the site is safe and tagged

(As required by company and statutory OH&S requirements)

2.3.1.4Environment and Site Safety Rules

Implement any Environmental or Safety requirements as highlighted from the Environmental and Risk Assessments

2.3.1.5Preventative Measures

i)Install Removable Fencing Barracade to Site Area

ii)Install No Entry, Authorised Employees Only signage in locations that will prevent accidental entry.

iii)Install Blasting and Painting in progress, , Hard Hat and Safety Boot signage at the main entrance to the site.

iv)Install all Environmental protection sheeting and marine boom

(If Required or as requested by Customer).

v)Supervise transportation and people movements to prevent potential accidents

2.3.2SITE PREPARATION

2.3.2.1Scaffolding

Allow access to and Install Scaffolding as required.

2.3.2.2Equipment

  1. Supply, Install and Commission all Equipment necessary to complete the Project Scope.
  2. Setup Equipment in an area that minimizes impact on the site and surrounding areas.
  3. Test that all equipment is functioning safely

2.3.3BLASTING AND PAINTING PROJECT SCOPE DETAIL

The Abrasive Blasting and Protective Coatings shall be conducted as follows:

2.3.3.1Preparation

  1. All surfaces to be coated must be clean, dry and free from chalking and free from any contamination and sufficiently roughened if necessary.
  2. Oil and grease should be removed from all surfaces in accordance with AS 1627.1 solvent cleaning
  3. Blasting

1.Blast clean in accordance with AS 1627.4 to Sa 2½ minimum (AS 1627.9), surface profile 40-70 microns and power tool clean difficult areas in accordance with AS 1627.2 to St 2 minimum (AS 1627.9), (atmospheric exposure only). Ensure that dust and contamination is minimized using Dust Extraction system.

2.If oxidation occurs between blasting and application, the surface should be re-blasted to the specified visual standard.

2.3.3.3Painting

1.Check that Paint is Wattyl Epinamel DTM 985 - Colour Light Grey.

2.Ensure the paint is mixed according to manufacturers specifications

3.Record Pre-Checks for Certification Data ensuring that the substrate temperature is at least 5°C during application and 3°C above dew point and relative humidity is below 85% before commencing.

4.Apply paint evenly to all surfaces using Airless Spray equipment with preferable WFT of 475um

5.Monitor Conditions hourly and check WFT (175-475um). Record certification Data.

6.Check each leg in 4 random locations the DFT after 4 hours drying time.Re-apply more coats if DFT is below 400um in any location.

Refer to over coating Table for time period to re-apply (If required)

7.When all surfaces are within specification, record post-check certification data and complete Certification Report Data.

2.4COMPLETION

  1. Have job inspected by Company Manager for compliance
  2. Notify the Customer Representatives of Job Completion and organize access to check compliance (If required).
  3. Remove all equipment , Scaffolding, Safety and Environmental protection
  4. Clean Area thoroughly, removing all contamination and restoring site back to original condition
  5. Send in all Data and Work to Administration including all associated costs and time sheets.
  6. Administration to create final Paint Certificate for the Customer’s records.
  7. Issue final invoice and Certificate upon receipt of Payment.

3.4TRANSPORTATION SUPPLIED BY METAL SERVICES AUSTRALIA PTY LTD

All transportation required by this project is inclusive within this project scope.

3.5TRAVEL AND ACCOMODATION

Due to the close proximity of this project, no travel or accommodation costs are allocated to this project.

3.6REQUIREMENTS REQUIRED BY TRANSGRID

3.6.1WRITTEN APPROVALS

Written Approval for a temporarywork site from the customer granting Metal Services Australia the authority to control access to the work site for the duration of the project.

3.6.2SITE AVAILABILITY

Access to the site will be available upon start-up and during the duration of this Project Scope as specified within the Project Scope. Any variation will incur additional charges.

3.6.3EPA REQUIREMENTS

Metal Services Australia Pty Ltd shall work under any CustomerEPA licenseif applicable. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that this Project Scope meets all EPA licensing requirements (if applicable) else additional charges shall apply to ensure EPA compliance.

3.7WARRANTIES

3.7.1WORKMANSHIP

Metal Services Australia Pty Ltd shall warrant that the work was performed in accordance to Project Scope Detail 2.3. Any work that does not meet this specification shall be reworked at no additional charge to the customer.

3.7.2CORROSIVE PROTECTION

Metal Services Australia Pty Ltd is unable to warrant the work for Corrosive Protection due to the application and surrounding area.

3.8EXCLUSIONS

Metal Services Australia Pty Ltd shall not be responsible for any loss or damage arising from work performed on this worksite after the work is completed.

4.1COST DETAILS AND VARIATIONS

4.1.1FIXED PRICE (Subject to 4.1.2 Price Variations)

$18,900.00 ex Tax

OPTIONS:

1 x 30m Marine Boom with Snap Hook Joiners – 3m x 0.18m (If or as Required)

Additional: $3500.00 ex Tax

4.1.2PRICE VARIATIONS

Prices will remain fixed for a period of 6 months from the issue date of this Project Scope.

Additional charges may apply for equipment hire if the work cannot be completed within a 5 day (excluding Saturday and Sunday) period from the commencement of this project due to any reason that is not caused by Metal Services Australia.

4.2INVOICES AND PAYMENT TERMS

4.2.1INVOICES

  1. An Invoice requesting a non-refundable deposit of 25% will be generated upon receipt of an order from the customer.
  2. An Invoice for the remainder of the project shall be submitted at the completion of the project but prior to the issuing of the paint Certification. The Paint Certification shall be issued at receipt of payment.

4.2.2PAYMENT TERMS

  1. The Initial Invoice requires payment prior to commencing.
  2. The final invoice is to be paid within 30 Days of the Invoice Date.

6.2COMMUNCAITIONS MANAGEMENT

6.2.1ISSUES NOTIFICATION AND TRACKING

1.The Customer Representative will be notified via e-mail or sms text messaging of all changes or issues that impact on the project. Notification will include time constraints and impacts which will identify the issue and or changes required. A meeting shall then be arranged if the matter cannot be resolved via email or sms communications.

2.Issues and changes (proposed or actual) shall be recorded using a Metal Services Australia Pty Ltd Data Collection Form. This form will be logged into the company’s Job System and tracked until both parties are satisfied with the outcome.

3.Any changes shall be implemented as per 6.4 Change Management.

6.3RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

Resources will be managed by the Project Manager. If Additional resources are required, the project Manager will instigate the required changes as per 6.4 Change management.

6.4CHANGE MANAGEMENT

  1. Change Requests will be reviewed and approved by the Customer Representative either via email or sms text messages or from an arranged meeting (if required).
  2. The effects of approved change requests on the scope and schedule of the project will be reflected in updates to the Project Plan.
  3. Version History will be updated to reflect current status of Change Requests.
  4. Any changes or variances MAY incur additional charges.
  1. Any changes to project scope will require a NEW VERSION number after the first version has been issued to all stakeholders.
  2. Approval / Signatures are required from all stakeholders after a new version number of this project scope has been released.
  3. The Purchase Order specifying this project scope must be revised to reflect the current approved version number.
