Bursary Criteria

·  Bursary recipient must be a member of Northern Lights Credit Union.

·  The recipient must be attending a recognized University or College to further their education.

·  Consideration will be given to applicants with financial needs.

·  Recipients will be selected by review of a committee chosen by Northern Lights Credit Union

·  The first half of the bursary will be advanced upon receipt of proof of registration in the first semester and the second half of the bursary will be advanced upon proof of registration in the second semester.

·  The first advance of the bursary must be made within 18 months of the award being announced or the award will be withdrawn by Northern Lights Credit Union.

·  Dependants of Northern Lights Credit Union employees, directors and committee members are ineligible for consideration.

·  Recipients are responsible for providing the Northern Lights Credit Union with a graduation picture 4” x 5” (for display purposes).
