As we prepare for our 2018 Rodeo Season, we are once again looking to our community for its help in raising money for our rodeo athletes. Founded in 1982, NCJRA strives to preserve our western heritage, promote the sport of youth rodeo, and is 100% operated by parent volunteer officers and directors. Our mission is to promote Youth Rodeo as an Amateur Sport through the production of individual Junior Rodeos and befitting Finals Rodeo, encourage and promote education, leadership, ethics, sportsmanship, community outreach and our Western Heritage. In 2017, we had 154 Members during the season with 90 of these members qualifying for the Finals. We produce rodeos at various arenas around Northern California to provide the greatest opportunity for kids to be able to participate. These rodeos are held primarily during the summer months to help kids continue rodeoing and honing their skills in the off season.

Annually, NCJRA holds approximately 17 Rodeos, with over 160 participants at each rodeo. NCJRA is 100% operated and managed by local volunteer Officers and Directors, and 100% of the proceeds from your sponsorship dollars go directly to support the scholarship program, awards, and rodeo payouts. The NCJRA season kicks-off in April and finishes with our “Finals” Rodeo in September. Visit our website for more information.

Your generous donation covers - 32 buckles to the event winners at our 2 day fundraiser rodeos. It will also include at our remaining rodeos, the following: Grand Entry Flag carried by our Queens, a 2’ x 6’ banner displayed in the arena, an 8” x 12” ad on our cargo trailer that is taken to every rodeo, and a full page ad in our rodeo program.
