Stage 3 Requirements for 2018

Dear Parents,

To assist your child throughout the 2018 school year, it is requested that the following equipment be provided. Your child will be expected to be responsible for the maintenance of his/her equipment and these need to be in good order at the beginning of each day. Please assist us in making sure all of your child’s property, including uniform and school hat is clearly marked with his/her name.

Requirements:

·  3 x dark blue pens

·  3 x red pens

·  3 x green and/or black pens

·  4 x HB lead pencils (good quality)

·  1 x 30cm ruler (hard plastic or wooden, not metal or bendy)

·  1 x large pair of scissors

·  1 x set of coloured pencils (12)

·  1 x set of textas (12)

·  1 x permanent marker size 70 or 90

·  1 x fine 0.4 black marker (art)

·  1 x quality rubber

·  1 x enclosed pencil sharpener (not electric)

·  1 x small pencil case clearly marked with name for desktop use

·  1 x larger pencil case for coloured pencils and textas

·  2 x large family box of tissues (a note will be sent out during flu season if more are needed)

·  1 x liquid soap

·  2 x roll of kitchen paper towel

·  1 x pack of disinfectant wipes

·  1 x display folder

·  4 x A4 plastic document folder (envelope folder)

·  1 x A3 plastic document folder (envelope folder)

·  2 x glue sticks (UHU stick or Bostik)

·  1 x pack of coloured highlighters

·  1 x clipboard

·  1 x library bag

·  clear contact (to cover exercise books)

Please allow your child to pack their own bag every night and check that they have everything for school. This will enable them to become more responsible and independent. These items will need to be replenished throughout the year. It is also a good idea to have a small pencil case with the basics at home for students to use when completing homework e.g. ruler, pencils, blue pen, glue and scissors.

Students in Stage 3 are also allowed to bring in a computer device to school (Monday – Thursday). More information about this can be found in the BYOD Policy and letter.
