FATHER-SON DUO HELD FOR CHEATING

With the arrest of (1) Jafar Hushain s/o Garib Shah Shayad r/o Kashba-Shri Ram Pur, Ward No. 1, Near Railway Station, Police Station Shri Ram Pur, District Ahmed Nagar, Maharastra Age-40 Years, North District police has solved a Cheating Case. One Juvenile has also been apprehended.

INCIDENT

On 17.07.2014, a PCR call was received vide DD No.44 B at PS Sarai Rohilla, Delhi and the same was entrusted to SI Alok Kumar Rajan D-1586 for further action. SI Alok Kumar along with other staff immediately reached the spot at Subhadra Colony and recorded the statement of complainant Manshi d/o Sh. Rajendra Kumar r/o L-115, Shastri Nagar, Delhi Age -19 Year . In her statement She stated that while she was standing in queue at State Bank of India Main Road Shastri Nagar, Delhi for preparing draft and she was also holding Rs 45.000 cash and filing up draft form, two persons came and stood beside her out of queue. One of them wearing blue shirt aged about 40 Years narrated something to her and she got carried away and handed over total cash to him and both persons further involved her in some discussions and in the mean time one of them took out Rs. 13000 from the cash by tricks. When she got her cash back from them she realized that some cash was missing and both the persons have cheated her by keeping some of cash amount with them and when the both the persons smelled that she has come to know about their trick , they started running and in the mean time she also made hue and cry and both the persons could be apprehended with the help of passerby including one Rakesh Sharma S/O Lt. Chaman Lal Sharma R/O A-145, Subhadra Colony, Delhi, . According to statement a case FIR No. 701/14 u/s 420/411/34 IPC dated 17.07.2014 was registered and investigation taken up by SI Alok Kumar Rajan, D-1586 under the supervision of Insp. Anil Dureja SHO/SR.

INVESTIGATION

During the course of investigation both the persons was caught by the complainant Manshi with the help of other public persons. CCTV Footage of SBI was also checked by local police. Statements of public persons was also recorded. During interrogation of alleged persons, it was revealed that duo were father and son and habitual in doing such types of crime. They disclosed their name’s as Jafar Hushain S/O Garib Shah Shayad Age 40 Year (Father) and son of Jafar Hushain to be Juvenile and both are resident of Shri Ram Pur, Distt. Ahemed Nagar, Maharastra. They used to sell items like perfume, Sun glasses, phones etc. and visited Delhi time to time for the purpose of purchasing these items. They used to stay at Hzrat Nizamudin Dargah. During the stay they used to commit such type of crime at several places in Delhi. During the search of those persons cheated amount Rs 6500 was recovered from the son and same was seized and taken in possession through memo. As IO is also a JWO, Juvenile is conflict with law was also apprehended and all documents prepared on spot in presence of his father Jafar Hushain. After conducting medical examination, juvenile was sent to observation home. After that Jafar Hushain was interrogated and arrested on the spot and sent to lock up. Investigation of the case is going on and it is possible that their involvement in some more similar crimes can come out.

CAUGHT IN THEIR OWN TRAP

Highlights:

 Case of attempt to murder, worked out with arrest of two culprits.

 Weapon used i.e. country made pistol recovered.

 Complainant himself involved in the incident to get his enemies arrested.

 The complainant tried his level best to misguide the police.

With the arrest of accused persons namely Arun @Vikky@ Bili age 22yrs s/o Sh. Dayal Chand R/o H No. RZF 151/2, Gali No. 17, Mital Colony, Pul Prahlad Pur, New Delhi, and Robin @ Boby aged 28 yrs s/o Sh. Hukum Singh, R/o H No. RZF 200, Gali No. 18, Mital Colony, Pul Prahlad Pur, New Delhi, team of officials of Police Station Pul Prahlad Pur has solved a false case of “attempt to murder.”

INCIDENT

On 11.07.2014, a PCR call was received at PS –Pul Prahlad Pur, New Delhi that a person has been shot, near northern basti, M B Road SI Satish Chandra along with staff reached at spot i.e Northern Basti cut point, M.B. Road, New Delhi. An empty cartridge was found lying on the left side of the road and one M/cycle was found parked nearby. It was found that injured namely Parveen Chaprana S/o Sh. Raj Singh Chaprana aged 34 yrs r/o H No. D-321, Pul Prahlad Pur, New Delhi had suffered gunshot injury and he had been rushed to Batra hospital. Statement of victim Parveen, was recorded, wherein he stated that while he was going to Saket courts, he was stopped by associates of Raju Bhadana and Kaushal Bhardwaj and one of them shot at him with a country made pistol and the bullet hit his right shoulder. Assailants ran away after firing, accordingly a case vide FIR No. 260/14 U/S 307/34 IPC read with 25/27/54/59 Arms Act was registered at PS P.P. Pur.

Keeping in view the gravity of offence and enemity between the complainant and Raju Bhadana, a team under the overall supervision of Sh. Jasvir Singh Malik, ACP/Ambedkar Nagar led by Insp. Dharam Dev SHO/Pul Prahlad Pur New Delhi and comprising of Insp. Parbhu Dayal, SI Kishore Kumar, SI Satish Chandra, SI Gajendra, ASI Dilbag Singh, HC Naeem, HC Sharwan, Ct. Parveen, Ct-Manoj and Ct. Anuj was formed to work out the case.

INVESTIGATION

It was noticed that recently alleged Kaushal Bhardwaj had deposed against complainant Praveen and his associates Arun @ Billi etc in case FIR No. 344/12 U/S 307/34IPC read with 25/27/54/59 Arms Act PS Pul Prahlad Pur, New Delhi. In this case associate of Raju bhadana i.e. Kausal Bhardwaj is complainant, while Arun, his brother Kamal, Parveen Chaparana & his brother Nitin Chaparana are accused persons. Both the accused persons are apprehending conviction in the said case, as the complainant of the case had firmly deposed against them. Before the decision of the case, they wanted to implicate their opponents in a false case, so that thereafter they could put pressure on the complainant party and negotiate for compromise with them.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED:-

1. Arun was born in poor family at the present address. He is a BC of bundle A in P S Pul Prahlad Pur. He is involved in many heinous cases of heinous i.e. robbery, snatching and attempt to murder. Another brother namely Kamal is also a BC of bundle A and is involved in same kind of cases.

2. Robin was born in a poor family at the present address. He came in contact with Dilip@ Monty, as both belong to the same residential area and joined his gang. After untimely demise of Monty, he became a close friend of his younger brother Arun and joined him in his illegal activities.

BLIND CASE OF ROBBERY OF PS DABRI WORKED OUT IN NO TIME.

Sleuths of Spl. Staff/SWD have arrested two desperate robbers viz Vijay @ Karey (aged-20 yrs.) s/o Naresh Yadav and Puran Chand @ Chinki (aged-25 yrs.) s/o Shiv Prasad. Robbed cash Rs. 49,000/-, two mobile phones purchased from the robbed money, one country made pistol & two live cartridges and motorcycle used in commission of crime have also been recovered.

On 17.07.2014, bag containing cash of complainant Sh. Rakesh Gupta who is running a Spice Shop at Dabri Subji mandi was robbed by three motor cycle borne persons. Upon this, a case vide FIR No. 559/14 dated 17.07.14 u/s 392/34 IPC was registered at police station Dabri and investigation was taken up in right earnest.

A special team comprising of SI Naveen Kumar , SI Ratan Singh PS Dabri, HC Pawan kumar ,HC Shree OM , HC Rajeev, HC Jaivir, HC Kuldeep, Ct. Abhishek Malan under the Supervision Inspr. Ramesh Kumar and overall supervision of Sh. Surender Sehrawat ACP/Ops./SWD was constituted for early breakthrough. On dated 20.07.14, following a secret information two robbers who were on motor cycle No. DL 8S BG 7240 with weapons were nabbed from Dada Dev Hospital Dabri Road . On the instance of accused persons, following recoveries have been effected: -

1. One country made pistol

2. Two live cartridge

3. Robbed money Rs 49000/

4. Two Mobile phones worth Rs 25000/- (New)

5. Motor Cycle Hero Xtreme, Black colour , No.DL 8S BG 7240, used in commission of crime

A separate case vide FIR No. 567/14 dated 20.07.14 U/S 25 Arms act has also been registered at PS Dabri regarding recovery of country made pistol and cartridges from the possession of the accused persons. Efforts are being made to arrest the absconding associate.

ORDER

Whereas a large number of complaints are being received that people purchasing liquor from liquor vends often start consuming the same in front of the liquor vend itself or at other public places. Vendors selling eatables and juices, at times, also station themselves unauthorizedly outside liquor vends which further facilitates this undesirable activity. Sometimes, ‘Baratis’ of marriage processions also openly drink liquor etc. on the roads while the Barats are moving. Drinking in public is a nuisance with a serious potential to result in brawls and quarrels causing serious injuries/death and damage to public and private property. This affects the peace and tranquility of the area and creates problems in maintaining law and order. It is also a punishable offence under section 40 of The Delhi Excise Act, 2009 (Delhi Act 10 of 2010).

2.And whereas it is necessary to take speedy measures in this regard to prevent danger to human life or safety and to thwart/prevent un-toward incidents which may affect the peace and tranquility of the area.

3.Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred upon me by Section 144 Criminal Procedure Code, 1973 read with Govt. of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi’s Notification No. U-11036/1/2008 UTL dated 26.11.2008, I, Surender Kumar Sharma, ACP-S.J.Enclave, South District, New Delhi do hereby make this written order to do the following, for strict compliance by the owners of such liquor vends in the area of Sub Division S.J.Enclave, South District:-

a) Install CCTV with sufficient number of cameras and recording system with play back facility, to cover upto 50 meters area in front of the shop. The CCTV should monitor anyone consuming liquor or facilitating consumption of liquor or any unauthorized vendor stationed in the coverage area.

b) The recording system shall preserve a digital record of CCTV coverage for not less than 10 days.

c) The vend owner or his agent shall cause to copy the CCTV coverage on a CD and hand over to the police whenever demanded.

d) Before starting sales for the day, the Manager of the liquor vend should ensure that the CCTV system is in proper working order and in case any defect is noticed, immediate action to get it rectified should be taken. An entry should be made in the register and intimation in writing should be sent to the Police Station simultaneously to be got duly received from the Duty Officer of the Police Station mentioning Daily Dairy Number on the intimation.

e) During the course of monitoring of the CCTV System, the Manager or anyone specifically designated by the Manager for real time monitoring of the CCTV shall immediately inform the Police Control Room at telephone No. 100 and also the nearest Police Station in case any illegal drinking in public or unauthorized vendor is noticed in the CCTV coverage area.

f) The vend owner shall display prominently at least two bilingual sign boards mentioning that drinking in public places is an offence and standing of unauthorized vendors outside the liquor shop is strictly prohibited. Telephone number of nearest Police Station shall also be mentioned on the sign boards.

4.The order shall come into force with effect from 19.07.2014 and shall remain in force for a period of 60 days i.e., up to 16.09.14 (both days inclusive) unless withdrawn earlier.

5.Any person contravening this order shall be punishable under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code.

6.As the notice cannot be served individually on all concerned, the order is hereby passed ex-parte. It shall be published for the information of public through the Press and by affixing copies on the Notice Boards of the office of all District DCsP, Addl. DCsP, ACsP, Tehsil Offices, all Police Stations concerned and the offices of the NDMC and MCD.
