Camp Days/Hours: Monday-Friday (9am-1pm) Price: $430 per camper

CAMPER INFORMATION/REGISTRATION/DEADLINES AND ORIENTATION:

Lower Camp: Must be entering K-2nd Grade as of September 1st, 2018
*Lower Camp meets by pavilion and tennis court area-adjacent to Liberty Field
*Lower Camp meets at Gould School on RAINY days!
Upper Camp: Must be entering 3rd-7th Grade as of September 1st, 2018
*Upper Camp meets at Gould School – RAIN OR SHINE!
Registration/Cost of each camper: Register online! $430 PER CAMPER registration includes Summer Fun T-shirt. Register online before Tuesday, May 29, 2018 otherwise there will be a $20.00 late fee (no exceptions).
Camper/Counselor Orientation: The meeting will be held Thursday June 14, 2018 @ NC Pool from 6pm-8pm (Rain or Shine)

Step 3: Pay online via credit card or pay by check
Step 4: You will receive payment confirmation via email
Step 5: Receive emails/notifications and program info
*Please note: Once you register online you will be responsible for payment of that program unless the program is cancelled by the Recreation Department.*

Arts & Crafts: Be creative and use your imagination with different kinds of projects!
Story Time: Need a break from the hot summer sun? Sit back and listen to your favorite stories!
Sports & Games: Play fun team based sports and games and learn how to work as a team!
Pot Luck: Science experiments? Games? Art? Something new every day!
Upper Camp Classes (3rd-7th grades) include: *classes subject to change
Arts & Crafts: Learn to be more about the arts with these awesome projects!
Sports & Games: Learn the fundamentals of all sports! Different sport, different day!
Cooking: Who doesn’t love food? New, fun recipes every day that you can eat after!
Pot Luck: Science experiments? Games? Art? Something new every day!
SUMMER ENTERTAINMENT
2018 Theme Days! Red, White and Blue Day, Crazy Hat Day, Field Day(Lower Camp ONLY!), Fire Truck Splash Down Day, Ice Cream Day, Pizza Day, Water Games Day, Tie Dye Day and much more!
Big Events:
Fire Dept. Splash Down: Cool down and get soaked by the fire truck! Be sure to wear your bathing suits!
Game Truck (5th-7th grades): Play your favorite video games in a state of the art game truck!
Lip Sync Battle (K-7th grades): Campers will be split up into grade and gender groups, pick out a song, sing and create a choreographed dance with their counselors! It’s an event not to be missed!
DJ Splash Pool Party & BBQ: Summer Fun loves to celebrate the end of summer with swimming, dancing, great music, pizza, hotdogs and so much more!
Group Activities:
Field Day (K-2nd grades): Obstacles, sports, contests and more! A fun filled day for Lower Camp!
Counselor vs Camper Tournament (3rd-7th grades): Campers will compete against counselors in a fun athletic competition.
POOL USE & SWIM LESSONS
Lower Camp (K-2nd grades) FREE Swim Lessons: Kindergarten (week #1 and #2 of camp), 1st grade (week #3 and #4), 2nd grade (week #5 and #6) of camp. These group lessons are included with your registration fees and will be held at 10AM each day.
Pool Use: Each camp will be given at least one day a week throughout our six week program to use the community pool including the snack area, lawn area, and playground. Some theme days will also happen at the pool. Additional days at the pool will be added depending on the weather and availability of the pool.
Swim Lessons: Summer Fun has free group swim lessons for Lower Camp (K-2nd grade) with our certified lifeguards. If additional swim lessons are an interest of yours, private lessons are also offered at the community pool Monday-Friday between the hours of 11AM-7:30PM.
