The North Arundel County Alumnae Chapter (NACAC), Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. will host the 21st Annual Mother and Son Luncheon on Saturday, April 28, 2018, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Abundant Life Church, 7305 East Furnace Branch Road, Glen Burnie, MD 21060. We invite mothers, fathers, counselors, and community leaders to participate in this program that is designed to recognize and uplift young African-American men, ages 13-18, in Anne Arundel County.

To participate in our program, we ask that you write a one-page letter entitled "Let Me Tell You about My Son” or “Let Me Tell You about an Outstanding Young Man." This letter should come from the heart and outline why you are proud of your young man's accomplishments in school, the community, and/or church. The completed package must include the following:

1.  Mother and Son Honoree Profile application;

2.  One-page letter – “Let Me Tell You about My Son” or “Let Me Tell You about an Outstanding Young Man”;

3.  One 3 x 5 picture, headshot preferred.

Applications must be received by Friday, March 16, 2018. Each package will be reviewed and notification of selection will be communicated on or before Friday, April 6, 2018.

Please join us in our efforts to expose and reinforce the positive accomplishments of African-American young men in Anne Arundel County. If you have any additional questions regarding this program, please contact Alexandria E. Chambers, Chairperson, at or at 443-422-2928.
