Civil Ceremony Facility Hire with Reception (Monday –Sunday) £515.00

The above prices do not include the registrar’s fees.
Once you have selected Normanby Hall as the venue for your Wedding ceremony you will need to contact the Superintendent Registrar at the North Lincolnshire Register Office, Civic Suite, 1st Floor Civic Centre, Ashby Road, Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire DN16 1AB, telephone 01724 298555, who will provide you with all the necessary information you will require to enable you to arrange your ceremony. A charge is made for the Registrar to conduct a service at Normanby Hall and is payable by you at the registry office. All dates must be confirmed with the registrar before confirming your booking with us at Normanby Hall.
Normanby Hall Booking Procedure
We are happy to provisionally reserve a date for you in our diary for 21 days without obligation or deposit whilst you decide whether this is the venue for you. You may request a date over the telephone on (01724) 720588 or e-mail us at
Once you have decided that you would like to book Normanby Hall for your special day you will be required to pay a non-refundable deposit to secure your booking.
Deposits
All deposits are non refundable and are required at the time of confirming your booking. If you choose Normanby Hall to be your venue, you will be required to complete and sign a booking form and return it to us with your non refundable deposit as detailed below:

Once we have received your completed booking form and the deposits we will issue you with a receipt and send you confirmation of your booking in writing.
Payment
The final balance is payable 14 working days prior to the event at which point all final numbers must be confirmed. If it remains unpaid we shall give notice, and then reserve the right to cancel the wedding. Payment can be made in person, by card over the phone or via cheque in the post (must be cleared 14 days prior to the event)
All payment received at this stage is non refundable.
Cancellations
If a guest cannot attend after the balance has been paid, you are welcome to replace them them but regretfully we cannot offer any refunds after the final balance has been paid. In the event of a cancellation after the final balance has been paid (less than 14 days prior to the event) all payments and all deposits are non refundable. All cancellations must be confirmed in writing to Normanby Hall.
Safety
Normanby Hall cannot accept liability for any claims, actions or demands arising from damage or loss to goods and/or property left on site that are the sole responsibility of the owner. Any goods and/or property are left entirely at the owners risk.
The hirer is responsible for meeting Health & Safety obligations associated with the activities of their event. This includes ensuring that any privately owned equipment is in safe working order and covered by the relevant insurance and portable appliance testing (PAT) documents, a copy must be sent to us in advance when used on our premises.
The hirer is also responsible for ensuring the premises are left in a safe condition on leaving. Please note any damage to the Hall, facilities or fittings will be charged to the hirer.
Children are welcome, though they must be supervised at all times in the Hall.
No artificial smoke generators or machines are to be used by discos/entertainers due to the sensitivity of the fire alarm system.
Fireworks are not permitted.
Please inform Normanby Hall staff of any disabled persons attending functions so special provisions can be made to help with their comfort and enjoyment.
Only official wedding cars are permitted to drive down the main drive, all other vehicles must be parked in the main car park (passes are provided and must be clearly displayed). “Drop off’s” at the front door can be arranged with prior notice.
Marquee Rules
We only supply the use of the grounds for all marquee functions. You will need to supply the following:
- The marquee. Your chosen marquee company will need to erect and take down the marquee at a time which suits the park. We will need a copy of their public liability insurance of up to £5 million and a risk assessment.
- Caterers will need their own kitchen/cooking facilities. We will also require a copy of their public liability insurance which needs to of up to £5 million, gas safety certificates (if appropriate) and a risk assessment.
- Mobile toilets.
- The site will need to be left as you found it and all waste removed.
- A private security firm will need to be hired to keep the marquee secure as the park cannot be held responsible for any damage or loss.
- Please note there are no electric hook ups available. Generators must be provided
