All participants of the project must agree to this nomination being forwarded for consideration by the CQUniversity Excellence in Engagement Awards selection panel and be familiar with the Opal Awards for Excellence in Engagement Procedures and agree to abide by the conditions therein.

SELECTION CRITERIA:

  1. Briefly describe the engagement/activity/project.
  1. Outline the positive impact of the engagement activity/s on both the community and CQUniversity.
  1. Describe the learning, reflection and growth by the participant/s through their involvement in engagement.
  1. Provide evidence of the direct connection of the activity to your education or training with CQUniversity.
  1. Attach with this form, any supporting documentation by relevant community groups or members (can be jpg, pdf, word.doc) or email direct to

REFEREE STATEMENTS (word.doc, pdf, jpg etc):

Please provide a signed statement, or other evidence, from at least tworeferees, confirming that the nominated project’s contribution is outstanding and exemplary of engagement.

This statement shouldalso confirm the student/s involvement in volunteer service which aligns with their area of study or training with CQUniversity.

Any publications and other materials seen as supporting the Nomination can be included however such documentation will normally be retained by the selection panel.
