NOJOS MEETING MINUTES

OCTOBER 2017

INTRODUCTIONS:

Andrew Butcher, working with Royce Webb and the “Go To Meeting Committee” set up the first trial of the interactive video NOJOS Meeting. This was successful. For those interested in “attending” future meetings and training sign in to your “Facebook” account and go to

NOJOS MONTHLY MEETING. Participants will be able to submit comments and questions during the meeting.

NOJOS GOALS FOR 2017 TEMPLATE/FORMAT FOR REPORTS SUBMITTED TO THE COURT: The Committee presented again to the Judges and they requested a few other minor changes. The Committee representatives will meet again next month to finalize the document. Once this is done it will be made available to other state agencies and private providers for use. (Special THANKS to Paula, Melissa, Becky and Zach for their continued support and work on the project)

The Level 7 (Psychiatric Placement Possibility) was discussed. A question on whether the ASD youth would be eligible for that placement was raised. A quick straw poll of those in the meeting brought up definition and testing procedures but numbers indicated there would be enough youth to serious consider the placement issue.

TECHNOLOGY FOR “GO TO MEETING” OPPORTUNITY FOR DISTANCE ATTENDANCE AT NOJOS MEETINGS AND TRAININGS:
