There is still have time to join us in San Antonio next week.

Time is growing near for the kickoff our 2016 SCA reunion at the Doubletree hotel in San Antonio, 28 September 2016 thru 1 October. If you are not registered there is still time to get it done. I am sending the appropriate forms for your use. It is important that you do this ASAP. Additionally, I am providing a current list of Officers registered to attend. You will probably find an old friend(s) on the list.

Our current MSC Corps Chief, Major General Patrick Sargent will give the keynote address on the morning of Friday, 30 September, you do not want to miss that. In addition, there will be speakers to update us on current events in today’s AMEDD.

The hotel is now taking reservations, and has a 24-hour prior to arrival cancellation policy in case something changes to your plans, so go on and make your reservations! Please use the following hotel reservation numbers (use of sites like Kayak or Hotels.com will not apply to our contract minimum room numbers and thus might put our budget in the red): Room rates are $106.00 plus $16.75% tax per night, thus $123 per night (breakfast is NOT included). Group code is SCA. Telephone numbers are 1-800-729-5713, or direct to hotel at 210-321-4855, website is (case sensitive). You may want to arrive a day or two early (or stay a day or two later) and take in the sights of San Antonio.

Don’t delay any longer, you want to get your registration form and check in soon to ensure your registration. Please mail ONE check for ALL activities made out to "SCA" and mailed to "SCA, P.O. Box 39514, San Antonio, TX 78218."

One last note, I want to congratulate CPT Christopher L. Duncan for winning the SCA MSC Leadership award. The award was presented to CPT Duncan by MG, (R) David Rubenstein during the Captain's Career Course graduation earlier this month. More on this follows the list of reunion attendees.
