No infield practice on fields used for tournament
8 run rule in effect after 5 innings, 10after 3, 12 after 4, may start or finish game with 8 players , no new inning after 1:15 (Saturday).1:30 time limit on Sunday games.
Injury re-entry allowed if out of subs, Squash rule will apply.
All protests will be settled before resuming play by UIC and designated staff
Tournament director reserves right to reschedule games as necessary
Ties will stand during Saturday pool play, international tie breaker after 7 or time on Sunday
Tie Breaker: International tie breaker after 7 innings if under 1:20 time limit
4 run limit per inning onSaturday(10U and 12U only) Open at start of 4th if tied on Sunday.
Courtesy runners allowed for pitcher or catcher (courtesy runners cannot be in line up unless batting entire lineup, must report to umpire). Cannot use same runner for both pitcher and catcher. When playing with 8, vacant 9th spot will be considered an out. Can add 9th player.
Coaches will provide umpire and opposing coach a copy of their lineup listing players by last name, first and uniform number 10 minutes prior to start of game, no exceptions. Coaches may choose to bat entire line up.

Home team determined by coin flip is official book…Winning team is responsible for writing in score on board or giving to director
Format: Pool play on Saturday, single elimination on Sunday.
Free substitution on defense if batting entire lineup.
Teams that play a 4th game will not have that game count in win/loss column, however could count if it comes down to head to head.
