ADDENDUM

Sub: Empanelment of qualified bidders for manufacturing and supply of NMCs under various schemes of KVIC through Open Tendering System – regarding.

This is in reference to the circular bearing even No. dated 04.03.2014 issued on the subject cited above. In the said circular empanelment of four organisations / institutions with KVIC was communicated for supply of 8 spindle New Model Charkhas @ Rs.13,500/- (Rupees Thirteen Thousand Five Hundred Only) per charkha. However, Accessories Cost @ Rs. 13650/- for one unit ( 25) Charkha, Stands deleted till further order.

2.Subsequent to the above, the Commissionin its 623rdmeeting held on 26.03.2014, approved empanelment of additional four qualified bidders through open tendering system for manufacture and supply of NMCs for execution of khadi programme in khadi implementing institutions as detailed below:

  1. Saurashtra Rachanatmak Samiti, Rajkot
  2. Khadi Gramodyog Prayog Samiti, Gandhi Darsan, Ahmedabad
  3. Dev Khadi Saranjam Industries, Ahmedabad
  4. G.N. Multi Disciplinary Training Centre, Dahanu, Maharashtra

3.The duration of the empanelment will be for three years and the cost as mentioned shall remain constant during the period of empanelment.

4.The below mentioned Annexures enclosed in the earlier circular dated 04.03.2014 may be adhered to for the purpose of procurement of 8 spindle NMCs from the empanelled manufacturers.

Annexure - I / The terms and conditions finalized for supply of charkha by the manufactures
Annexure - II / Khadi implements procurement procedure to be adopted by the KIs.

5. All State and Divisional Directors are requested to bring the content of the above addendum to the circular dated 03.04.2014 to the notice of all concerned for information and compliance.
