Several disciplinary hearings have been held in the Naledi Local Municipality against employees, including some Section 57 managers.

For the years 2008/2009 and 2009/2010, supply the following information per year as below:

  1. Full list of all disciplinary hearings held;
  2. Against whom was the hearing held, including post level;
  3. What was the accusation;
  4. What was the result of each hearing;
  5. What action was taken against the person as a result of the hearing, if found guilty;
  6. List per hearing, if own personnel, legal or otherwise conducted the hearing and or investigated the circumstances, and
  7. If own personnel were not utilized, who was, and at what cost.
  8. Finally, what was the ORIGINAL budget for legal service?

Over the year 2008/2009 and sometimes into 2009/2010 discrepancies were found in the monies collected at the Maquassi Hills Local Municipality in terms of the “Motor Vehicle Registration and Licensing Authority” for the Department, including its sub units, as a Leeudoringstad.

At least three employees of the Maquassi Hills Local Municipality were suspended as a result.

  1. Is the above substantially true?
  2. If, not, what are the correct facts?
  3. It true, then , ;

(a)What is the value of the discrepancy indentified

(b)How many employees were suspended?

(c)Has any disciplinary action been taken against them?

(d)If so what?

(e)And what was the result of any disciplinary action?

(f)What is the present employment status of any suspended employees of the Maquassi Hills Local Municipality in this regard , and

(g)If any monies are missing, what steps have/ or will be recover same?

New facilities for the SAPD are being built in Amalia, Mamusa Local Municipality, but the SAPS members in Amalia are still using the existing facilities.

  1. What was the original completion date?
  2. Has any extension to the original completion date been approved ,

(a)If so, what is the lasted completion date , and

(b)Will this date be met?

  1. Who was the contractor?, and

(a)Is he still contracted to complete the facility?

(b)If no, why not?

(c)If not, has a new contractor been appointed?

(d)If not, when is it proposed to appoint new contractor?

  1. What was the original contract value?
  2. Due to extensions to complete, what is the lasts contract value?
  3. With respect to(3) above;

(a)Does any owner/member/shareholder or , otherwise of the contract have any family members in the Department of Transport , Roads & Public Works and

(b)If so what actions did or are envisaged by the Department?

  1. How many learners with special needs are there in the province that needs high level support? What percentage of our learners has high level support needs?
  2. How many of the above learners are accommodated in Special schools. If all are not accommodated, why not?
  3. Do you have a provincial plan for special needs education? If not, why not? If so, please provide the plan.
  4. What is your budget for special needs education and what percentage is it of your total budget?
  5. Is there a directorate for special needs education? If not, why not. If yes, please provide details?

With reference to the plot situated on the corner of Nelson Mandela Avenue and Beyers Naude Avenue in Rustenburg,(opposite Rustenburg Municipality) please indicate the following :-

  1. To whom does this property belong and has all building on this property ceased. If building has ceased, please indicate why.
  2. Kindly indicate whether repairs have been carried out on a broken sewage pipe flowing into this premises. If not, why not.
  3. Who is ultimately responsible for the carrying out of the necessary above repairs to this sewerage pipe?

  1. Kindly indicate if or uniforms allowance are being provide to students at each of the North West Nursing Colleges and if so kindly provide full details including date of inception?
  2. What problems at each of the North West Nursing Colleges are in existence regarding uniforms or uniform allowance?
  3. Are uniforms or uniform allowance part of any contractual agreement with students?
  4. Were any collection agreements at any stage reached with student about uniforms or uniform allowance and id so provide full details?
  5. When were classes suspended at the Mmabatho Nursing College and when did it resume?
  6. Were any punitive measures initiated against any student regarding protests about uniforms or uniform allowances if so provide full details?
