NMDA will no longer provide Cooperative Advertising Assistance and Retail Advertising Assistance in the same manner as in years past. However, limited funding will be available for projects that exhibit collaboration and/or that exclusively involve placing online, paid advertisements (man hours for graphic design work excluded).

Funding may be provided on a cost-share basis and the amount awarded will be determined by NMDA based on funding availability, the source of funding, and the equitability between any current or past requests that are to be or were funded within the same fiscal year.

For discounts on print ads, see “Discounts” in the “Program Resources” section of our website at . You must be a member of our Logo Program to receive these discounts, and any other discounts, offered to our members. A copy of your company’s Membership Certificate created by NMDA must be provided to the vendor offering the discount. At any time, membership can be verified between a vendor and NMDA.

Requirements:

  • State funds cannot be a substitute for private funds that could be used for routine advertising efforts.
  • Only the cost of placing the ad is eligible for reimbursement.
  • All ads must contain either the New Mexico—Taste the Tradition® or New Mexico—Grown with Tradition® logo. See our website (link provided above) for Logo Program membership information or contact NMDA’s Marketing and Development Division (contact information provided near the end of this document) to apply and the logo artwork can be emailed to you. Please remember to follow the Logo Use Guidelines also provided by NMDA at the time of application.
