EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETINGS
The Chapter Executive Committee meets once in a month probably in the 3rd/4th week of every month to review the progress of the activities planned / conducted and to finalize future course of action, and also to finalize the monthly income and expenditure (Minimum 12 Meetings in a year).

To facilitate Professional growth by organizing Annual Programmes – Legal Update & HR Update, External Training programmes /Seminars/ workshops, In-House training programmes, Monthly Evening Lecture Meetings,Industrial Visits etc.
Activity Plan
Evening Lecture Meetings
Evening Lecture Meetings are planned every month on any HR/IR related topics by eminent speakers (Minimum 12 programmes in a year)
In–House Training programmes at various organizations – Two to three days per month.
Open Training Programmes(4 Nos.)
This will include Annual Flagship Programme “Legal Update” during May/June every year other Three “Management Development Programmes”
Biennial HR Conclave 2017 (HRCon2017) during August/September 2017.
Workshop on HR at Infopark, Kochi targeting HR Professionals in and around Infopark
Young Managers’ Contest for practicing young HR professionals for NIPM Geojit BNP Paribas Rolling Trophy in association with Geojit BNP Paribas and Rajagiri Centre for Business Studies.
Interface with Labour Department Officials (DLC / RJLC / PF / ESI Officials)
To organize a joint Project with NHRDN on Promotion of Internship.
B / MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE
Primary Objective
To enroll more HR/IR Professionals as Members to NIPM fold to strengthen the Institute

To strengthen the activities of NIPM we have set a target to enroll minimum 100 new members (Life / Corporate / Associate / Institutional & Students) during the year 2016 – 2017 and 100 new members during 2017-2018 by contacting maximum organizations.
To observe one month in each year as Membership Campaign Month with the slogan “Each One – Catch One”
Attract more Gen Y HR Professionals into NIPM Fold by campain through various methods including social media.
Formation of Group Office at Trissur in consultation/association with the existing members in and around Trissur to attract more members in this area and for organizing programs under this Group.
Revival of Infopark HR Community on the backbone of NIPM Kerala Chapter Brand.
Creation of Member Database incorporating complete details of members & their families.
Campaign to realize the outstanding membership fee from default Members
Encourage Associate / Corporate Members to upgrade their respective membership to the next level i.e. Corporate/Life Membership.

Primary Objective
Provide facility for knowledge enhancement, Development of existing Library, Interaction with B Schools, NIPM Business Quiz for B-School Students, Development and Career Guidance programmes for Children, Academic Achievement Awards to Children of NIPM Members etc.

To organize Faculty-Student interactions / Seminars / Summits on HR with Institutional Member Colleges once in six month.
To focus ONE B-School per year and providementoring to the Students as well as faculties.
To organize NIPM Chapter Level (Level I) Business Quiz every year for NIPM Synthite Rolling Trophy in association with Synthite Industries Limited and SCMS or any other B-School.
Academic Excellence Awards to Children of NIPM Members for the coming Academic years (To be distributed during AGM in the month of May/June every year)
Zachariah Memorial & KRC Nayar Memorial Awards for Ist & 2nd Rank holders in MHRM conducted during the year by MG University.
Bi-weekly / monthly Updationof NIPM Website Social Media incorporating complete details about Kerala Chapters upcoming Events, details about the upcoming programmes and programmes already completed to attract patrons from HR communities of Services and IT Sector.
Bring in an integrated approach to Branding of Kerala Chapter – working in combination with Media/Publicity Committee as well as Membership committee.
Career Mentoring Programme for B-School Students – a structure for online / e-mail / phone / chat sessions on career choice and tips during student life of Management Students – provided by volunteer NIPM Members.
HR Internship Programme –to connect with GenY from HR campuses.
Formation of Gen Y Members Group within Kerala Chapter to attract more young HR Professionals to interact between them and exchange ideas / developments in the profession.
To create a Video Channel for GenY Monthly 15 minutes Q & A via Google Hangout.

To set up a permanent platform for the proposed NIPM Skill Development /Knowledge Centre and to chalk out new innovative ideas / Arrange Consultancy Services / Recruitment Processes etc.
Action Plan
To Locate ideal location to set up NIPM Skill Development Centre and chalk out plans in getting aids from various agencies (Government/Public/Private)
To Conduct Short Term Certification Programs on Labour Laws as well as HR Skills every year and also to explore possibility of conducting any other Short Term Certification Courses.
To Organize Enhanced Employability Certification Programs for various B-Schools located in Kerala.

To Study the requirement of Consultancy Services at various organizations and arrange consultancy as per requirement.

Provide Consultancy Services and help organizations to undertake CSR Practices and implement them in their respective organizations.
To Organize “Best Corporate Citizen Award”during the coming years by inviting entries / scrutinize & short-listing and arrange presentation of short listed organizations before jury panel, arrange results and present awards to the winners during AGM.

Action Plan
Release of 3 Quarterly Issues of “Kerala Personnel” (July – September, October – December & January – March)
Release of 1 annual Issue of “Kerala Personnel” during AGM in the month of May / June every year.
Include more information / attractive articles and present an Award for the Best Article, each quarter / once in a year based on the theme, content etc. meeting our set standards. The guidelines for this can be frame, if needed and the award can be presented in the AGM every year.
Providing separate column in the Quarterly / Annual Issues for B-School Students
Publication of Book Reviews & Labour Law Amendments in Quarterly / Annual Issues of Kerala Personnel
Provide Question & Answer page wherein the Reader can address query related to HR/IR and we can give reply in the next edition in consultation with Senior HR/IR professional members.
To include main contents of the evening lecture sessions conducted by NIPM Kerala Chapter in the quarterly issues.
To arrange Sponsors for quarterly editions of Kerala Personnel and we will dedicate the Back Cover of the edition for the Sponsor’s advertisement.
HR Best Practices / any New Concept of IR can be included in the Quarterly / Annual Issue if our members are ready to contribute.
Any new changes in the existing statues (like Companies Act etc.) can be published, after collecting the change in Acts from known Lawyers / Consultants.
Knowledge sharing Sessions / Interviews with Senior HR Stalwarts can be published.
To upload the soft copy of the Magazine in NIPM Website.

To Increase family bondage, promote cordial human relations among the members and their families of the NIPM fraternity, organize cultural programmes, etc.
Activity Plan
To Celebrate Kerala’s Harvest Festival Onam/ Christmas / New Year.
One / Two Day Family Picnic to a prominent Tourist Destination outsideKochi.
Organize cultural programmes of children/members during Onam Celebrations / Annual Day Celebrations etc.
Organize Music / Dance / Fashion Design Classes for Children of NIPM Members etc.
To Form a Women’s Forum of NIPM Members/Families and celebrate women’s day every year.
To coordinate with the Group Offices to arrange similar programs within the Groups also.
GROUPS UNDER NIPM KERALA CHAPTER
There are 5 Groups under Kerala Chapter as under:
a)Kottayam
b)Palakkad
c)Calicut
d)Alappuzha
e)Infopark (IT/ITES)
All Groups have its Group Coordinator and Committee Memebrs to look after the activities of the respective Group which in turn reports to the Chapter. All these Groups are planning to organize various activities including Lecture Meetings, Training Programmes, Family Get-together etc. on regular basis very effectively
The Chapter has plans to conduct at least one Executive Committee Meeting at each Group.
Formation of New Group - We are also planning to Form a New Group in “Trissur” during the year 2016-2017.
ANNUAL GENERAL BODY MEETING
Kerala Chapter proposes to conduct its Annual General Body Meeting for the year 2016-2017 and 2017-2019 during May / June 2017 and May / June 2018 respectively.
The AGM will be followed by NIPM Annual Day Celebrations in which various cultural events will be presented by the Family Forum Members and Children.
CONCLUSION
The above Activity Calendar is tentative based on the initial estimation which may vary when the final picture emerge. However, to achieve our goal we require maximum support and cooperation of all our members, organizations and well wishers. We seek your whole hearted cooperation in our future endeavor.
