Hentley Farm is a boutique Barossa Valley winery owned by Alison and Keith Hentschke. Situated among rolling hills on the banks of Greenock Creek at Seppeltsfield, they aspire to make full-bodied, well structured wines with great balance.
The 2005 Hentley Farm is already a multiple trophy winner, having taken out the prize for the BEST WINE OF SHOW at the 2006 MARANANGA (WESTERN BAROSSA) REGIONAL WINE SHOW, no easy feat considering the number of superb wines that eminate from this region. The wine has a dense inky colour in addition to a big, sweet nose of blackberry and kirsch liqueur. The palate offers up blackberry, cherry and some cassis characters. It possesses striking purity as well as fine tannins and is beautifully balanced. Barossa at its best.
