Patienthealthrepresentativeswill be thereto assistNHSHounslowCCGto help develop andcommission the rightservicesfor the people ofHounslow byhavingpatientinvolvementin specificareasofhealthcare.

  • Being partof a procurementpaneltoensurethere isa patientperspectivewhenNHSHounslowCCG arecontracting/buying a newNHSservice(wewould providesupport and training forthoseinterested in this).
  • Assisting discussionsand feeding backon yourspecificareaof interest whenyoursubject isdiscussed atPatient andPublicEngagement Committee.
  • Liaising withotherpatientchampions from otherNorth-WestLondonboroughs,wherewe mightbedeveloping servicesacrossmultipleboroughs(often this can bedonefromhome).
  • Helping us toidentifyotherinterested patientsfor aspecificservicetohelpensure thelocalNHShear differentperspectives ontheservice.
  • Helping usshapehowwe getkey messagestoserviceuserssothemessagegetsthrough.
