This is an opportunity for an individual to apply for the post of either Physician Assistant or Advanced Nurse Practitioner with the Fife Neurorehabilitation Service based in the Sir George Sharp Unit at Cameron Hospital in Fife.
This is a permanent post. It would be suitable for someone to gain further experience as part of their career development or someone interested in gaining experience in the assessment and management of neurological conditions
You will join a highly motivated and skilled multidisciplinary team who provide integrated neurorehabilitation.
The inpatient unit rehabilitation programme has been internationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) since 2003 and seeks to provide a high standard of care and rehabilitation to people with a variety of neurological conditions with a particular emphasis on acquired brain injury (including stroke and TBI) and multiple sclerosis.

An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Senior Charge Nurse within the Outpatient Department.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate commitment to person centred care and supporting effective team working. The post holder will have 24 hour responsibility for the Department, providing clinical leadership, managing the nursing team and having a pivotal role in driving service improvement.
You will be expected to ensure safe and effective care that enhances the patient experience and contributes to the delivery of organisational objectives. The post holder must have experience as a Charge Nurse within an acute setting and be able to demonstrate expert clinical and professional practice through experience and theoretical knowledge.
This post is full-time, 37.5 hours per week. There is also a requirement to participate in the Duty Charge Nurse rota for the Emergency Care Directorate.

We are seeking a Health Protection Nurse Specialist to work within the Health Protection Team. You will be based in the Department of Public Health at Cameron House and work closely with other Health Protection Nurses and Consultants in Public Health.
You must be on the General Nursing and Specialist Community Public Health Nurse parts of the NMC Register, have a relevant first level degree/post-registration qualification and be able to demonstrate evidence of further professional development. You must be willing to undergo further training to advance your skills and knowledge.
You must have substantial post-registration experience including relevant experience in health protection. Community experience, and practical experience in the field of Public Health Nursing/Infection Control is desirable and experience in communicable disease and TB control would be advantageous.
You must have good analytical, judgemental, communication and computer skills. Being able to travel efficiently throughout Fife, and work autonomously and in a team are essential.

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy for a registered nurse who is keen to enhance and develop their management and clinical skills in a Charge Nurse position.
You should have a commitment to acute medicine, patient centred care and supporting effective team working. You will support the Senior Charge Nurse by providing clinical leadership, managing the nursing team and having a pivotal role in driving forward models of care. You will be expected to ensure safe and effective care that enhances the patient experience and contributes to supporting the Senior Charge Nurse to deliver the organisation's objectives. You must have relevant post registration experience at senior nurse level within an acute clinical setting and be able to demonstrate expert clinical and professional practice development through experience and theoretical knowledge, with management and leadership experience. You must understand the complexities of caring for frail individuals with acute and chronic medical illnesses and the importance of the team work involved in safe daily dynamic discharge process.
