The next meeting of the Parish Council will be held on Wednesday March 22nd 2017

at7.30 p.m. inSt. Mary’s Church.

Northumbria Police will be present at the meeting and will be available to answer questions from Councillors and members of the public

a)Review quotes for grass cutting and offer to cut grass by Mr John Parker of Newton Hall.

b)Strimming/grass cutting – review of how many times per year this is needed.

e)Safety of Lane leading to the Public Toilets at Low Newton

f) AONB Volunteering Project – Possible suggestions for projects e.g. Introduction of Anti-Dog Fouling Initiatives

g)Parish Council letter request to the National Trust requesting a personal meeting with Ms Robyn Brown and a separate meeting with local M.P. Anne-Marie Trevelyan and National Trust

12) Parish Council Standing Orders – Standing Orders have not been updated for a few years. Consideration of need for review.

a) Traffic safety measures in the vicinity of Doxford West Cottages – Quotes/Tenders to be discussed/obtained for costings re Give Way Lines at the above junction as requested by Savills who have agreed to pay for the work to be done.

b) Litter bin at St Mary’s Church and a replacement bin at the turning point at Low Newton
