New Yellow Ink from Domino delivers industry-bestperformance

Domino Printing Sciences has launched a new yellow inkfor its world leading, easy-to-use, A-Series range of CIJ (continuous ink jet) printers.Providing outstanding performance and a level of reliability that has previously been unachievable from a yellow ink in the industry as a whole, the 2YL912 is ideal for a wide range of challenging applications across a variety of sectors, and remains highly reliable even at elevated temperatures of up to 45°C.

“Our new ink providessuperior performance on a wide range of substrates including HDPE and LDPE,” comments Nick Plaister, Product Manager for CIJ at Domino. “Everyone knows that yellow ink in CIJ can be problematic, but we have used our knowledge and developed this new addition as a simple solution for coding onto dark or black surfaces. Weexpect it to be predominantly useful for personal care, food & beverage - where dark labels or glass are being used - as well as some industrial applications. With a 12 month shelf life, and operating in the temperature range 5 – 45°C, we anticipate excellent feedback from the market, and look forward to rolling this out across Europe over the coming months.”
