New Training Manager appointed at Visbion
Chertsey, UK August 2013, Visbion a leader in standards-based image management solutions is pleased to announce the further expansion of its workforce with the appointment of Sandra Di Cioccio as Training Manager. Sandra has worked in the training arena for over 25 years and has designed, developed and delivered courses for businesses, NHS Trusts, trainers and students in a wide variety of subjects including the use of PACS and Mammography systems.
Sandra studied at the University of Warwick to obtain her Certificate in Education (Cert.Ed) where she later went on to deliver the Royal Society of Arts (RSA) Computer Literacy course (CLAIT) and designed courses aligned with the European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) qualification.
Having passed the CIPD Foundation Certificate in Learning and Development Practice and the de facto TAP (Training Accreditation Programme) Training Delivery Skills qualification, Sandra has extensive experience of designing courses to suite specific needs and using Training Needs Analysis for tailor made solutions. She has delivered train the trainer (TTT) courses as well as developing a number of IT training programmes covering the full training cycle.
Over the last four years Sandra has worked within the NHS, at Sandwell and West Birmingham Trust as their IT trainer and most recently at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire as one of their Senior Clinical IT Trainers, before being appointed as thePACS Manager for Breast Screening.Whilst with the Breast Screening service, Sandra was an innovative leader putting many IT processes in place to assist in moving towards the 'paperless NHS'.
Having spent the last four years working in the NHS, Sandra fully understands the demands and requirements of today’s healthcare market and particularly within the PACS arena.
Sandra commented, “I'm very excited to be joining such an innovative company in these changing and challenging times within thePACS arena and especially within Healthcare where clinicians time is becoming ever more precious.I will be designing courses that suit both the end user and the 'techies' and my aim is to have at least the entry level courses being delivered either as a podcast or within a virtual classroom.”
Sandra is responsible for further developing and delivering a full range of training programmes and courses for Visbion’s growing customer base in both the healthcare and veterinary sectors.
