Request new tournaments. Update contact information

Please review and follow the steps below as requested by USTA New England.
- Request New Tournaments
Provide the following information to USTA New England
- General information about the tournament(s) you are proposing to host (location of play, dates, divisions of events – open, age, NTRP level)
- USTA # of the tournament director
- Name of the USTA Organization you are working with (and USTA # if available)
Send additional information or prepare sanction forms as requested.
USTA New England will review your request, and will ask for additional information or provide instructions to complete sanction forms
Most tournaments are sanctioned more than a year in advance; i.e. organizations apply by July 2011 for 2012 tournaments.. A few tournaments may be added in the current year to fill gaps in the existing junior and adult schedules
- Update your personal USTA Membership Information
The contact information listed with the tournament director’s USTA # is downloaded onto each sanction form and included on the TennisLink tournament home page. If the information is out-of-date you will need to manually edit the contact information on EACH sanction form.
Call USTA Member Services at 800-990-8782. Press “5” to reach a representative
Provide your USTA # to the representative. Review/update these fields as needed:
- Mailing Address
- Telephone #:List the number(s) that players and USTA can call with questions(typically your office or cell phone number, or both)
- Email address: List the email address that players, USTA, and LinkTeam can use to contact you
Renew your membership if needed
- USTA Organization’s Membership - Apply - Renew - Update the Information
Call USTA Member Services at 800-990-8782. Press “3” to reach an organization rep.
Apply for membership or renew membership as needed. A three year or five year membership is recommended.The Organization can submit tournament sanction forms only if the membership is paid through the date of the tournament
Check the organization's contact information.The membership address must be the mailing address. The phone # should be at the location where the tournaments are run. Add a web site address if you have one.
The organization's membership address, email, and phone # are downloaded to the sanction forms. If they are out-of-date, the tournament director must manually edit themon EACH sanction form.
The tournament director must check the Organization address on each sanction form to confirm that the SITE ADDRESS is listed. Mmany organizations have a different mailing address.
- Set up your Organization's USTA Account
Once this is done the Tournament Organization can access sanction forms using the organization numberand this web link. The Organization can also log into TDM.
Navigate to the USTA Account tournament administration page

- Click on the top Create Accountbox
- Click the Organizational button
- Enter your Organization's USTA # and other requested information

- Change the Tournament Director When Preparing Next Year's Sanction Forms
Log into the Tournament Administration web site withthe OrganizationUSTA #
Follow sanctioning instructions and "Copy" this year's tournament for next year
Click on the CONTACTS tab at the top of the page
Click on the “Change Director” link. Enter the new tournament director’s ID #
Review the contact information for the new tournament director. Update if needed
Click on "Save Sanction Form" at top of sanction form to return to the tournament menu
- Change the Tournament Director on Existing Sanction Forms
The Tournament Organization can complete this step for sanction forms that have not yet been approved.
USTA New England must change tournament directors on approved forms
Log into the Tournament Administration web site withthe OrganizationUSTA #
"Open" a tournament by clicking on the title
Click on the CONTACTS tab at the top of the page
Click on the “Change Director” link. Enter the new tournament director’s ID #
Review the contact information for the new tournament director. Update if needed
Click on "Save Sanction Form" at top of sanction form to return to the tournament menu
