NOTE:applications must be received a MINIMUM OF 6 WEEKS prior to the date of required closure and should be sent to the address below for the attention of the Rights of Way Team.
COST: The cost of closures is £500, plus advertising costs which are approximately £3000. Applicants will be invoiced after approval.

NOTES FOR GUIDANCE
1.Procedures are in accordance with the Code of Practice to the Co-ordination of Street Works for Road Purposes and Related Matters - November 1992.
2.Liaise with the Rights of Way Team to ascertain whether a Path Closure is required, a joint meeting with all interested parties present is normally arranged at this stage.
3.Send application form to the address below 6 weeks in advance of required closure date.
4.Applicants are responsible for erection and maintenance of their own signing and barriers which must be agreed with the Rights of Way Team prior to commencing works on site.
5.Alternative routes/Diversion must be agreed with the Rights of Way Team prior to work commencing on site.
