New products for users of Amadeus, Travelport, Sabre and other GDS’s

Amadeus users

When you start working after the system outage, you will in general be able to work as usual, andnotice few changes. Some enhancements will however be introduced from the first day e.g.

·  E-ticket Revalidation -if permitted, it will be possible to revalidate a ticket instead of reissuing it

·  Automatic reply on Special Service Requests -e.g. when requesting an Unaccompanied minor (UMNR) you will get an immediate confirmation or reject

More information on these products will be updated in SAS Sales Information (SSI) before the system change.

·  A major change will be noticed by users of Travel Pass Products as SAS is deploying a new and enhanced solution. You will find the latest information on the process on SAS Sales Information, read more here

·  Some changes will be noted in AeTM with reference to the SAS Travel Pass Products. All AeTM customers have been notified by e-mail and on Amadeus e-Support Centre

·  SAS TPC SIR (SIR = Scandinavian Interface Record)
All 3rd party mid-office providers and travel agencies with their own mid-office solution have received necessary information by e-mail. Information was also posted on Amadeus Agent Zone in November. Production date for SIR is 27FEB12.

During 2012, new products such as Electronic Miscellaneous Documents, Ancillary Services andATC Refund, will be launched for the SAS Group Carriers, as the products are introduced by Amadeus in your market. You will be informed in due time for the product launch.

Travelport users (Galileo, Apollo, Worldspan)

When you start working after the system outage you might notice some changes, but in general you will be able to work as usual. Some enhancements will be introduced from the first day e.g.

·  E-ticket Revalidation -if allowed it will be possible to revalidate a ticket instead ofreissuingit

·  Frequent Flyer Validation in connection with Interactive Sell will be available.

During 2012new products, such as Electronic Miscellaneous Documents, Interactive Seat Map and Advanced Seat Reservation, will be available for the SAS Group Carriers as the products are introduced by Travelport in your market.

Sabre users
