Congratulations on making the decision to, “Complete Your Journey” into the Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus. You have taken the first step toward becoming a member of what many consider to be the most prestigious group of Catholic Laymen in the country, the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus. As a 4th Degree Sir Knight you will have the “OPTION” of becoming that window through which Catholics and non-Catholics most often recognize the Knights of Columbus, “THE COLOR CORPS.” This is a great opportunity to express your Catholicity and Love of your Country.

The 61st Annual Fourth Degree Exemplification of Michigan District II, Knights of Columbus is to be held in Lansing, Michigan and hosted by Bishop Albers Assembly #496 on Saturday, April 30, 2011. We are privileged to have as our class honoree, Supreme Director, Sir Knight Thomas M. Wegener.

Eat a good breakfast on your own before registration. A light lunch will be furnished to you prior to the beginning of the Exemplification. If you have any medical problems please make us aware of that at check in. The schedule and locations for Friday and Saturday, April 29th & 30th are as follows: YOU MUST BE IN POSSESSION OF A CURRENT 3RD DEGREE MEMBERSHIP CARD ON SATURDAY BEFORE THE EXEMPLIFICATION!

Dress code is Black Tuxedo (basic style, no double breasted or tails), Black Shoes and Socks, Black Tie, Black Cummerbund and White pleated Shirt with lay down collar (NO WINGED TIP COLLARS ALLOWED). All men attending the Exemplification and Banquet must be in Black formal attire. No exceptions to dress code except for priests and members of the military in their dress uniform. Priests wear their collar and Black dress jacket.

**DON’T LET YOUR LADY MISS THIS!! She is invited to the Ladies Continental Breakfast, Program, and Luncheon. Dress is casual. The ladies will have a wonderful speaker. Program registration begins at 9:30 a.m. The fee is only $15.00 to attend. Please remit to your assembly comptroller for tickets. REMEMBER, to make this her day too!

Do not miss the Friday night outing at Cristo Rey Parish at 6:00 p.m. (address above) Dress is casual. Yes, jeans are perfect for Friday a fun evening of socializing and making new friends. Dinner and entertainment provided for only $16.00 per person. See your Assembly Comptroller for reservations and dinner tickets. You are also welcome to the Master’s hospitality room located at the Lexington Hotel throughout the weekend. See schedule for hours.
