You will receive a ticket for each task you accomplish towards the prizes at the New Jeweler Brunch

If you complete ALL the tasks you will receive a Check Out Notebook at the brunch.

You may not get all of these tasks done by NJB… AND THAT IS TOTALLY OK!!!! This is intended to HELP you to get to know where you can go to find the answers YOU need to be Super Successful. Do what you can and increase your chances to win prizes. Bring this paper and the items you are asked to find with you to NJB. This is what we will be going over – so if you watch the videos that will help – but you can review them after as well. This will then be a reference of key info in the coming months for your business. We are so excited to see you shine! Training is the best way to ensue that will happen!

Task #1: GOALS

1.  How many events do you want to do a month

2.  How many in home events? ______

3.  How many facebook events? ______

4.  What days are you doing your shows______

5.  Mark the days you can do a show on a separate calendar or in your calendar – but know them so you are ready to book them when you chat with your friends.

6.  How many guests would you like to attend your Kick Off Show? ______Great --- only 25% of those that you invite can attend – so OVER INVITE! Use the 40 guests in 4 minutes to help you brainstorm who to invite. Invite at least 40 people. Look at your contacts on your phone, facebook, emails, Christmas lists, kids’ friends moms, activities you and your family are involved in, neighbors, the gal that does your nails, hair, doctor office staff, school staff, church friends, neighbors, family, gals that compliment your jewelry in every day life – be ready with an invite!

7.  Count 45 days starting the day after your training show (Kick Off Show) and mark it in your calendar. Hold 6 shows in that period and get QUICK START. Shoot to schedule 1 to 2 every week for the first 6 weeks! Plan for a few cancellations.

List the people you plan to ask to do a show in your quick start. Use your list of people that you are inviting to your kick off show as well as the Quick Start Hostess Scavenger Hunt. Put the show date next to any that you have already booked!! Use the verbiage on page 4 to make your calls.

Task #2: Bookings

Bookings are the life-blood of our business. Learn all you can from the start – but know that it is a process. You will grow stronger in this area as your confidence grows.

3.  Decide on the jewelry you would like to show

Select the jewelry you would like to highlight at your presentations. Tag them so you know the names.

Consider having a necklace in the following collections. You might have a few in one category. I like to select jewelry that is versatile or show a tip I want to share. I will highlight a few bracelets but focus on the necklaces.

4.  3 ways the guests have a chance to win a prize:

1.  On time Drawing (worth it to get everyone to be there on time and start on time!) I offer a clip it or a scarf or jewelry cleaner – but it can be any prize.

2.  Most ______Dollars (Or Diva tickets)

  1. The HOSTESS hands out the Diva Dollars – this keeps her engaged. When the Hostess is engaged – the guests stay engaged.
  2. Also – you need to remind the guests to say “Love it” they will forget.
  3. Tell them at the start of the show that they can win a prize – and show them.
  4. You can use tickets – just have them count them – and reuse at the next show, you can print Julie’s from her web site, or buy them from the Incentive’s site.

3.  Go over and collect the Guest Survey - Read it to them as they fill it out.

5.  It is good to set a time frame on shopping. Julie tells them that they have _____ minutes to shop. If a few stragglers are slow to order – start to pack up until they are ready—that usually motivates them to hurry!

  4. See how close she is to reaching your special and remind her if she is close. She may not realize it and want to go shop to get there.

4.  Go Over each block on the tic tac toe board – or the check list on the hostess checklist sheet - she needs direction.

5.  Ask her if she has any questions

Common Objections:

Too busy: “Well you are HERE, tonight! It doesn’t take much more effort and with your own show – you get so much FREE”

No friends: “It doesn’t take many – a you and two would be so fun!”

Small or her house is a wreck – “Let’s do appetizers at a restaurant – easy peasy!”

Review other objections on the web site under FILES – there are flash cards to review how to over come objections. They will help make you very ready.

Task #7: Golden Guarantee and Exchanges

·  You have 30 days to mail it back to the home office. Bring to training and Julie will mail it back for you.

·  Always have the item in hand before you process an exchange or a replacement.

·  You can do an exchange of a broken item that a different jewelry lady sold them. They just need to pay you the $7 plus tax. You can not do an exchange for a piece you didn’t sell because you won’t be able to select it on your computer. But you can do a broken item that is over the 60 days – and just collect the $7.

TASK #8: Getting Ready for Your First Show

1.  Your Look: Jewelry ladies need to look the part, but we don’t need to run out and get new clothes.

·  What do you plan to wear to your first show?

·  What jewelry do you plan to wear?

·  Remember cute shoes and nails and hair also help to give you credibility. If you need advice please ask any of us – we have all gathered tips and tricks over the years. We love learning fashion tips from each other.

2.  Banking: Check Mark when completed

·  Set up a personal Checking account to use for your business (Don’t put “Premier” in the name – just use your name ______
