NBCN is a division of the Department of Health, established to create an evidence-based provincial strategy for all elements of cancer care, including prevention, screening, treatment, follow-up care, palliative care, education, and research.
The mission of NBCN is to reduce the burden of cancer for all New Brunswickers. “Working together to ensure high quality services”. Our goals are to reduce the incidence, morbidity, and mortality of cancer among New Brunswickers through the planning, delivery, and evaluation of sustainable cancer services.
NBCN is charged with ensuring a provincially coordinated approach to cancer programs and services, involving the development of policies and standards for all elements of cancer care.
