Schools/Colleges Commitment

  • To commit to the Enterprise Adviser Programme to work at a strategic level with an Enterprise Adviser to review and improve the current careers, enterprise and employer engagement strategy and provision in the school/college.
  • To commit senior management/leadership resource to the programme, for at least a full academic year, in terms of their engagement with an enterprise adviser across a range of activities; e.g. initial diagnostic/gap analysis, developing an employer engagement plan and reviewing progress against the plan.
  • To be closely involved in the local community and to assist in the development of our future skills pipeline of young people.
  • To undertake an audit of current practice and develop an Employer Engagement Plan with the support of the Enterprise Adviser
  • Provide case study materials to showcase good/innovative practices.
  • Provide the Network with baseline and progress data regarding careers, enterprise and work related provision across the school/college as required.
  • To offer honest feedback and review about the programme to support improvement. To act as a champion for the programme with other schools/colleges and businesses.

All information supplied in relation to this project will be held by Norfolk County Council and/or Suffolk County Council in accordance with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998, and will remain secure and confidential. It will be used for the purposes of the Enterprise Adviser Programme, and where appropriate, any other relevant functions of the Council(s). Your details may be passed onto the school or college you are paired with and, to The Careers and Enterprise Company who will contact you to welcome you to the programme.
