PANTHERS AAU

SPYB IS PROPOSING TO CONVERT MRA4 INTO A 50/70 FIELD FOR 11U & 12U TEAMS.

I have contacted 3 Site contractors for donations of 18 tons of infield clay. We need to strip 6’-8’ of grass and loam off the back of the infield, install the infield mix and move the mound back 4’. PTR Skid Steer is $200.00 rental for the day. New CHAMPRO Safety bases are $120.00. 4 cases of paint to line fields is $120.00. If the clay is donated it will cost $500 to convert the field and all of us for 1 day to complete the work.

Games are on Sundays and possibly Friday nights. I have spoken to Ed Skovron from NE AAU Baseball and he is excited to have the other half of the Plymouth program playing there. This will run concurrent with our regular season but we will have control of the players in both to monitor pitching rest. Pitch counts on Sundays will be monitored and shared with the league and that pitchersTown Coach. Pitch counts will follow Cal Ripken Rules as stated in our Rule Book. SPYB would like to see a minimum play rule for all teams - 3 innings and 2 at bats.

TOWN COMES FIRST…. If a player has a Majors/National league Practice, they must attend it. If an AAU Coach has a SPYB game/practice conflict, TOWN COMES FIRST…… There are enough coaches on each team to cover these games. We will move the schedule around so everyone has equal opportunity to make these games. I’m not sure how many games we will get at home but we will be using Emerson and MRA 4 for this new league.

We will find sponsors for our teams for $400.00. We will have a sign made and displayed when we play. I have reached out to Rockland Trust already, if you know of a potential sponsor, please direct them to me. We will have a team plaque made to give to the sponsor. This will give us either 2 more sessions at ATLANTIC/RBI or 3 more at 4 for 4 Hitting.
