12.6. TECH FOR RALLYES AND ECONOMY RUNS

1. Before being allowed to start a Rallye or an Economy Run, all vehicles MUST be inspected to see that they comply with state and local vehicle regulations. Tech inspection includes the following:

_____Tail lights _____Seat Belts - driver and navigator
_____Brake lights _____Rear View Mirror
_____Back-up lights (if equipped) _____Horn
_____Brakes _____Valid Driver's License by Driver
_____Valid Vehicle License
_____Tires - 2/32 inch minimum tread, no visible cords
_____MUST have working odometer for Rallye if mileage is a factor in scoring
2. Any vehicle that, in the opinion of the tech inspector, would constitute a danger to life and limb, will not be allowed to enter and the driver shall be refunded the entry fee.
3. Upon passing inspection, a vehicle shall be marked with a visible check or sign, the vehicle number and the class. Numbering of entrants' cars shall be done in a manner as to not bring unnecessary attention to the entrant during the course of the event. Any means of numbering affixed for a Rallye or an Economy Run MUST be removed or covered at the completion of this event. Cards placed on the dashboard are recommended.
4. The following items only apply to Economy Runs:

3. Once a car has completed tech inspection, no changes can be made to the car until the Economy Run is completed.
4. Tech inspection MUST be completed on all the cars prior to the first car starting the Economy Run.
