-How Do I Create A System Account?

  1. Access the NCBC Event Registration System web site.
  2. Enter a valid email address in the ‘<Enter Valid Email>’ block.
  3. Select the ‘No, I need to register’ checkbox.
  4. Click the ‘Sign In / Register’ button to proceed to the registration page.
  5. Enter values in the required field, which are denoted by the ‘*’ icon.
  6. Note: Your password must be 6-15 characters and contain at least ONE number.
  7. Click the ‘Continue’ button to proceed to the confirmation page.
  8. Verify that the confirmation information is recorded; after the accuracy is confirmed click the ‘Register’ button to create your system account.
  9. The system will take you to the user portal page upon successful creation.

-How Do I Sign Into The Event Registration System?

  1. Access the NCBC Event Registration System web site.
  2. Enter a valid email address in the ‘<Enter Valid Email>’ block.
  3. Select the ‘Yes, I’m registered and have a password’ checkbox.
  4. Enter your password in the ‘<Enter Password>’ block.
  5. Click the ‘Sign In / Register’ button to proceed to the user portal page.

-How Do I Update My Profile?

  1. Access the NCBC Event Registration System web site.
  2. Enter a valid email address in the ‘<Enter Valid Email>’ block.
  3. Select the ‘Yes, I’m registered and have a password’ checkbox.
  4. Enter your password in the ‘<Enter Password>’ block.
  5. Click the ‘Sign In / Register’ button to proceed to the user portal page.
  6. Click the ‘My Profile’ button on the user portal page to proceed to your profile information.
  7. Update your profile as desired, enter your current password and click the ‘Update Profile’ button to save your changes.

-How Do I Register For Courses?

  1. Access the NCBC Event Registration System web site.
  2. Enter a valid email address in the ‘<Enter Valid Email>’ block.
  3. Select the ‘Yes, I’m registered and have a password’ checkbox.
  4. Enter your password in the ‘<Enter Password>’ block.
  5. Click the ‘Sign In / Register’ button to proceed to the user portal page.
  6. Click the ‘Event Registration’ button to proceed to the event registration page.
  7. Select the event that you wish to register for from the dropdown with the block ‘-- Select Event To Proceed --‘; confirm that you have selected the correct event.
  8. Click on the ‘Register for Courses’ tab to view available courses for the event you selected in step #7.
  9. Click the icon to add thecorresponding course to your breakout sessions.
  10. Note: You may only add one course per breakout time range; selecting a different course in the same breakout time range will replace the previously registered course.
  11. Note: The current number of open seats is available in the ‘Open Seats’ column
  12. Note: Hover over the ‘Description’ column or click the icon to view the corresponding full course description.
  13. Note: Courses that you are currently registered for are identified by the icon.
  14. Note: Courses that are currently full are identified by the icon; review other breakout time ranges for open seats.

-How Do I View/Edit Courses That I’m Registered For?

  1. Access the NCBC Event Registration System web site.
  2. Enter a valid email address in the ‘<Enter Valid Email>’ block.
  3. Select the ‘Yes, I’m registered and have a password’ checkbox.
  4. Enter your password in the ‘<Enter Password>’ block.
  5. Click the ‘Sign In / Register’ button to proceed to the user portal page.
  6. Click the ‘Event Registration’ button to proceed to the event registration page.
  7. Select the event that you wish to register for from the dropdown with the block ‘-- Select Event To Proceed --‘; confirm that you have selected the correct event.
  8. Click on the ‘My Breakout Sessions’ tab to view your registered courses for the event you selected in step #7.
  9. Note: The system will display the total number of courses, if applicable, that you are currently registered for to the right of the ‘My Breakout Sessions’ tab.

  10. Click the icon to remove the corresponding course from your breakout sessions.
  11. Click the icon to email the breakout sessions to your registered email address.

-How Do I View An Event’s Scheduled Activities?

  1. Access the NCBC Event Registration System web site.
  2. Enter a valid email address in the ‘<Enter Valid Email>’ block.
  3. Select the ‘Yes, I’m registered and have a password’ checkbox.
  4. Enter your password in the ‘<Enter Password>’ block.
  5. Click the ‘Sign In / Register’ button to proceed to the user portal page.
  6. Click the ‘Event Registration’ button to proceed to the event registration page.
  7. Select the event that you wish to register for from the dropdown with the block ‘-- Select Event To Proceed --‘; confirm that you have selected the correct event.
  8. Click on the ‘Event Schedule’ tab to view the scheduled activities for the event you selected in step #7.

-How Do I Register My Children For Child Care Services

  1. Access the NCBC Event Registration System web site.
  2. Enter a valid email address in the ‘<Enter Valid Email>’ block.
  3. Select the ‘Yes, I’m registered and have a password’ checkbox.
  4. Enter your password in the ‘<Enter Password>’ block.
  5. Click the ‘Sign In / Register’ button to proceed to the user portal page.
  6. Click the ‘Event Registration’ button to proceed to the event registration page.
  7. Select the event that you wish to register for from the dropdown with the block ‘-- Select Event To Proceed --‘; confirm that you have selected the correct event.
  8. Click on the ‘My Child Care Requests’ tab to view your current childcare requests.
  9. Note: The system will display the total number of children, if applicable, that you have requested childcare services for.

  10. Enter new/Update current child care requests if needed; specify the total number of children that you require nursery services for in the appropriate age range block.
  11. Verify that the entered information is correct and click the ‘Update Child Care Data’ button to complete the process.

-How Do I Navigate In The Event Registration System?

  1. Click the icon (located in the top-right corner of any page) to display available navigation actions; select your desired action from the menu.
  2. Note: Available actions will be curated based on your current location in the event registration system.

-How Do I Sign Out Of The Event Registration System?

  1. Click the icon (located in the top-right corner of any page) to display available navigation actions; select the ‘Sign Out’ option from the menu.

-I Forgot My Password, What Should I Do?

  1. Access the NCBC Event Registration System web site.
  2. Enter a valid email address in the ‘<Enter Valid Email>’ block.
  3. Click the ‘Forgot Your Password?’ link to proceed to the challenge page.
  4. Enter the correct answer to your security question and click the ‘Generate Reminder’ button to generate a reminder email; click the ‘Go Back’ button to return to the application entry page.
  5. You will receive a reminder email from the system containing the password reminder.
