Honor Cord Information
Alpha Delta Nu Chapters will provide honor cords for their graduates. The generally accepted color for nursing is apricot; however, some chapters have determined that peach is a better color choice as most apricot cords appear bronze. You are free to make the determination of the color you will use for your program. An excellent cost-saving suggestion is to order the double cord and split each into two single cords.
Most Alpha Delta Nu Chapters will purchase the honor cords through their institution’s graduation supply source. You may also check with faculty advisors of other honor societies within your institution to determine where they obtain their honor cords from. If your institution cannot assist you in finding honor cords for your graduates, try one of the following resources:
