National Lutheran Schools Week

January 22-26

Class Work

*Reading–Students will be learning thej sound and working on blending. We will also be reading stories about communities and winter. Students will be learning about story elements such as setting, characters, and plot. Read I See You!on Thursday night, please return the book on Friday.

Students will recite this bible verse on Thursday morning. Students do not have to recite the book of the Bible, chapter, and verse this week. Please practice with your child. Thank you!

*Math-Subtraction and Addition; Students will have homework on Tuesday.

Snacks and Drinks

Colt Burchamwill have snacks and drinks this week. We will not need snacks Thursday and Friday.

Brady England will have snacks and drinks next week.

News

Students will recite the Bible verse above for memory this week on Thursday. Please practice with your child.

As of now our 100th day of school celebration will be onThursday, January 25. Each student is asked to bring 100 of something on that day. These items can be in a plastic bag or displayed on a poster board. Some ideas include: beans, pennies, cereal, stickers, candy, etc. If anyone would like to bring a special treat pertaining to the 100th day please let me know. Also if you have any questions please let me know.

Brownstown public library is having a book club once a month until May. The first book club will be on January 23. The book club is from 3:35-4:30 at the library, students can ride the bus to the library after school. If you would like your child to participate you can register at the library anytime.
