Healthy Living, Weight Loss
MI Healthier Tomorrow Postcards and Pledge
MI Healthier Tomorrow (MHT) is a program that encourages healthier lifestyles. MHT postcards are designed for Michigan adults wishing to lose 10% of their body weight and includenutrition tips based on the MI Daily Planas well asinformation about how and why to take the pledge to lose 10% of body weight. If you set up a laptop at your event, individuals could take the pledge onsite at After taking the pledge, participants will receive a free “Getting Started Kit” in the mail with tips and tools on physical activity and healthy eating. Participants will also receive ongoing engagement messages to support them on their journey to lose weight.

Adolescent Driving Tips
The Michigan Teen Safe Driving Coalition offers brochures (English and Spanish) full of adolescent driving tips. Bonnie Raffaele, founder of The KDR Challenge, is leader of the Teen Coalition.The KDR Challenge was created in memory of Kelsey Dawn Raffaele who was tragically killed in an automobile accident on January 24, 2010. KDR focuses on educating youth in Michigan about the dangers of using a cell phone while driving. KDR stands for Kids Driving Responsibly and are Kelsey's initials.

Traffic Safety Materials
The Michigan Office of Highway Safety Planning (OHSP) publishes various informative brochures, flyers, posters, and other traffic safety-related items throughout the year. Topics include drunk driving, bicycle, pedestrian, and motorcycle safety, seat belts, and car seat safety. These materials are available free of charge. Quantities, unless otherwise noted, are limited to 250. Only one order per month will be accepted per customer. Please allow one to two weeks to receive your items.

Birth Defects Prevention Materials
Approximately 3% of Michigan babies are affected each year by conditions such as spina bifida, cleft lip and palate, and critical congenital heart disease.
