NATIONAL ENVIRONMENT COUNCIL

RESOLUTION No. 235, dated January 7, 1998

THE NATIONAL ENVIRONMENT COUNCIL - CONAMA, making use of the prerogatives conferred by Law No. 6,938, dated August 31, 1981, regulated by Decree No. 99,274, dated June 6, 1990, and as provided for in its Internal Regulations; and

Considering that provided for in the Sole Paragraph of Article 8 of CONAMA Resolution No. 23, dated December 12, 1996, that determines the reassessment and classification of the list contained in its Annex 10; and

Considering the need to classify the wastes to better manage imports, resolves:

Article 1 - Annex 10 of CONAMA Resolution No. 23, dated December 12, 1996, enters into force with the text included in the Annex of this Resolution.

Article 2 - This Resolution enters into force on the date of its publication.
