CALLING ALL AFFILIATED ORGANISATIONS
INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS AND FRIENDS
We have been very fortunate in enlisting the services of THE HON. SHANE L. STONE AC, QC, National President of The Order of Australia Association, to come and speak to us on how to go about applying for recognition of the many worthy women in our society so they can be honoured by the Australian Awards system.
For too many years women have not been sufficiently recognised by the Awards system. Perhaps this is because we have not taken the trouble to apply ourselves to the task!
All of us have taken inspiration from the scores of women who are such great contributors to the wellbeing of the Australian community but who have not yet been recognised.
COME TO THIS MEETING AND FIND OUT HOW TO APPLY ON BEHALF OF THOSE WOMEN YOU KNOW WHO SHOULD BE RECOGNISED IN THE SYSTEM.
We will also hear from some women who have already been recognised for their contributions. Their stories will inspire you to nominate similar women from your organisations.
Let us make a difference to the lack of women’s names being sent forward for consideration.
