Minutes from the December meeting were accepted as submitted.Dave Braica won the dinner raffle.

Treasurer Chris Barrett reported that we have a current balance of $557.91.

Reminder: Dues were due by January 1st. A grace period of 60 days, but not to exceed the March meeting applies. Please keep your dues up to date. Dues may be sent to Chris Barrett, 5 Elliot St, Nashua, NH 03064.

The Bill Filter Fishing Derby: JULY 28th. The club is in need of everyone’s support to help with rods and assist the kids for the Kids Derby. Please think about what you can do to support this worthwhile activity. Also, Mrs. Filter has spoken to Zebco and Bill’s boss has offered to once again provide the door prizes for the kids. A big THANK YOU to Mrs. Filter and to Zebco for their welcomed support!

Gerry’s meeting with church leaders in January to discuss guidelines for church members who fish in the pond on topics such as personnel identification, fishing times, and limits on use of bait went well. Saturday, July 28th was set for the Kids Derby. A tentative opening day for pond fishing was set as April 21st.

Keith Clements plans to make a camping reservation at the Magalloway State Park for a fishing trip this summer. Please contact Keith if you are interested.

Brenda Philippon showed off the titanium 5 wt. ADG rod that will be raffled off. The rod is a gift from the ADG Company of Denver in exchange for NFCA placing a link to their website on our website. If 4 rods are sold to members of NFCA, the ADG owner will provide anther rod for 2013, Brenda said.

Reminder: The Club fly tying session will take place next Thursday, February 16th, at 6:00 PM at the Crossway Christian Church. All levels of fly tyers are invited to the session. Come out with your tying equipment and learn some new techniques. If you have a favorite pattern, bring the materials to show us all what works for you.

Ralph Orlando proposed that we have a program consisting of short 10-minute presentations by the members telling about their favorite stream, best fishing experience, best fish, etc. The idea was generally supported and was tabled for more planning.

REMINDER: The Pelham Fly Fishing show is March 2-4.

Walter Marcella circulated several discount fly fishing packages.

The business meeting was adjourned at 7:10PM. It was followed by an exciting presentation by Ben Nugent on studies of trout range and habitat from Georgia to Maine; the status of the NH salmon restocking program; and the trout diet with corresponding flies in NH.
