Program Improvement Plan (PIP) Review - Items in red and bolded in the attached document are new as of the last PIP document. Items in red and not bolded were previously reviewed with the NOWG.

Summary:

·  Two training videos were posted on the NANPA website and a NNS notification on the two new training videos was distributed. The videos are 1) Effective Date Field on the Central Office (NXX) Assignment Request-Part 1 and 2) On-Line NRUF Submission.

Monthly Operational Report (MOR) - Highlights of monthly activities - Items in red and bolded in the attached document are new as of the last MOR document. Items in red and not bolded were previously reviewed with the NOWG.

Summary:

·  Summary of rate center consolidations has been added under Reports, Central office Codes – 2005 to present.

·  None

NANP Administration System (NAS)

·  Two new Secure File Transfer Protocol servers were deployed (one each in the Sterling and Charlotte NAS locations). These will be used for accepting NRUF submissions in NAS.

·  NAS Other Resources User Guide has been updated. This included removal of remove references to the old 5YY forms.

NAS Trouble Tickets

·  For Trouble Ticket 9 – NAS and mailing list users receiving multiple copies of an email from NANPA regarding avoiding NRUF filing errors, the NANPA provided an update that changes have been made to the email system to address this issue. Testing has been delayed due to resource availability.

·  Please see the appropriate tab in the “NANPA Measurements” document attached below for detailed information on Trouble Tickets.

Details:

·  Please see the appropriate tab in the “NANPA Measurements” document attached below for detailed information on Code Quality.

·  NNS notice was distributed to remind NAS users to ensure their NAS Login ID matches their PAS Login ID. This information will also be included in the 4Q NANPA Newsletter. In 2015, NANPA is planning to educate applicants on the need to keep their NAS profiles current or it may lead to the denial of a resource application.

Other NANPA Resource Administration

·  Metrics/Benchmarks - All metrics were met for November

·  There were 30 5XX-NXX assignments made in November

·  There are 386 NXXs remaining in the 577 NPA

·  There were 8 CIC reclamations/returns in November

·  Status of Resources - Please see the appropriate tab in the “NANPA Measurements” document attached below for detailed information on Other Resources

·  NNS notice on semi-annual CIC reporting has been distributed.

Numbering Resource Utilization/Forecasting (NRUF)

·  Metrics/Benchmarks – All metrics were met for November

·  168 NRUF submissions were received in November

·  There were 16 error notifications sent

·  Metrics/Benchmarks – Please see the appropriate tab in the “NANPA Measurements” document attached below for detailed information on NRUF Performance Measurements.

·  NNS notice distributed to remind NAS users of the February 1, 2015 NRUF filing date. Also included a reminder about the Utilization Missing Reports for geo and non-geo resources.

·  NANPA conducted testing with service providers using FTP for NRUF submissions prior to the deployment of the new FTP servers.

NPA Relief Planning

·  Metrics/Benchmarks – Please see the appropriate tab in the “NANPA Measurements” document detailed information on NPA Relief Planning, Monthly Performance Measurements.

·  All metrics for November were met.

·  The Washington UTC opened a new docket and NANPA filed a letter explaining the updated forecast projections for the 360 NPA. Since there is a suspended overlay, the Washington UTC will just need an order to move forward.

·  Future NPA relief projects were discussed with the California PUC staff.

·  Discussed with Colorado PUC staff status of Colorado NPAs and rate center consolidation.

·  NY 631 – NY PSC issued a press release that the new area code on Long Island has been approved. This overlay will be implemented with a six month period of network preparation, followed by a nine month permissive dialing and one month of mandatory dialing. This overlay will cover the current geographic area currently covered by the 631 NPA.

·  The link often included in NPA relief planning NNS notices that allows the recipient to click on the link and view a document referenced in the notice now requires the user to be logged into NAS in order to download the document.

INC Activities

·  Issue 779 – Revisit Use of Pre-planning Checklist as Proof of Facility Readiness: Issue has gone to final closure and the COCAG and TBAPG were updated on 10/24/14.

·  Issue 782 – Removal of Suspension Due to Minor Errors and Administrative Edit to Section 5.3: Issue has gone to final closure and language in the COCAG was updated on 10/24/14.

Number Administration Activities/Events/Projects

·  NANPA responded to 11 NANPA feedback emails from 11/1/14 through 11/30/14.

·  State Reclamation Contact List has been updated.
