Naming Convention for Online Reports

Each report must be named in a certain manner or the file will not be found by the user!

Below are the abbreviated terms that will be used to name the files. Each file will be put into its corresponding folder on the webfolder. In this webfolder, there are subfolders for each area (Bonita Springs, Captiva Island….). There are subfolders in each of these for year (00, 01…) and for month (Jan, Feb, Mar….). With the current number of reports, there will be twelve reports in each month folder. There is also a CurrentMonth folder. This folder will hold all of the reports for the current month that are run weekly. Currently, there are two (Residential and Commercial Building Permits). In naming the files for the Current Month the Month abbreviation (Jan, Feb, Mar…) is not used because weekly reports are always published a week after the date. ALL FILES FOLLOW THE SAME NAMING CONVENTION EXCEPT the weekly reports.
