FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUEST –1293/16

Request:

As part of a national project to map services for women experiencing multiple disadvantage, I would like to request the following information from your organisation:

1) What services are you currently commission specifically for women affected by:

substance use problems

mental health problems

homelessness

involvement in offending

2) For each type of service commissioned:

What organisation delivers the service and what are their contact details?

How many women can they support at any one time?

When does the current contract end?

Response:

Substance use problems

Integrated substance misuse service fully accessible to women, delivered by Turning Point. No contractually set limit. Contract expires 30/06/2020. Contact: 020 7481 7600.

Mental health

Teenage Mediation Service, The Bridge, Loughborough. Contact: 01509 260500. No contractually set limit on numbers. Contract expires March 2018.

Homelessness

No services commissioned by Public Health.

Involvement in offending

Probation Health Trainer Service, Inclusion Healthcare. Fully accessible to women. No contractually set limit on numbers. Contract ends 31/03/2018. Contact: 0116 221 2780.

Engage is a scheme run by probation services and the Police, for persons aged between 18yrs and 24rs, who have offended or are at risk of offending. Referrals are made by Community Safety Partnerships. This is fully accessible to women, i.e. it is not gender specific. Contact: 126 New Walk, Leicester, LE1 7JA. No contractually set limit on numbers. No expiry date.

Twenty / Twenty is a mentoring scheme commissioned by the OPCC for Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. The Scheme supports young persons at risk of offending who can be referred. Contact: 01332 348449. No contractually set limit on numbers. Expiry date is unknown.
