n2n Application Form
Section B: Application Information

All student exchanges between UArctic institutions, preferably outside the student’s home region (i.e. North America, Nordic, Russia) are considered north2north exchanges.

A special north2north scholarship program has been established under the north2north Student Mobility Program. Students placed in a north2north exchange can, for most countries, apply for a north2north scholarship and/or a travel grant. Each country with n2n scholarship funding establishes its own funding level for students based on the principle that scholarships will be fixed according to length of study, and travel grants according to distance and expense of travel. At the time being students from Canada, Sweden, Finland and Norway can apply for a north2north scholarship. Russian students can apply for north2nnorth scholarship when going to Norway, Sweden and Finland.

The north2north Student Mobility Program has at its disposal a number of north2north tuition waivers offered by North American member institutions. Students participating in a north2north exchange to North America can also apply for available north2north tuition waivers. Students offered a tuition waiver do not have to pay tuition fee at the host institutions claiming tuitions. One waiver is for one semester, for a one year exchange the students will need two waivers. Some of the North American institutions also are willing to offer domestic fee to north2north students. Domestic fee is the same fee the domestic students are paying and can vary from institution to institution.

It is meant only to fill one application, send the original to the 1. priority institutions and than a copy of the original to the other institutions.

Complete the Application Form and return it with the required documents described below to the Institutional n2n Administrative Contact Person of your home institution and a copy to the other institutions contact persons, (see
