My trip to Las Vegas

The day I started out on my well-planned trip I was very nervous. I don’t know if I was more nervous for my first plane ride, or too be out in the world all on my own. When I arrived at the airport at 9:30 I quickly said my good byes to my family, and then I made my way to the plane. The plane ride went very well. The people were very friendly. The plane ride went by fast because I slept almost the whole way. When we arrived in Las Vegas I picked up my rental car, and then checked into my hotel. After checking into my hotel I decided just to go to bed so I could get an early start in the morning.

Day 2 started off with a wonderful breakfast at Café Lago at Caesar’s Palace. Then I decided to go check out the main strip at Las Vegas, just to get some sight seeing, and ideas for what I could do while on vacation, and believe me you can never, ever run out of things to do in this fabulous city. After my day full of going through little shops on the strip, and spending money I decided it was time to settle down for some dinner. So I decided to try a place called the Alta Villa. The Alta Villa is located at the Flamingo Hilton hotel/casino on the strip. I was so amazed with my meal. It was by far the best meal I have had in a long time! After I ate I couldn’t resist but to go and try my luck at the hotel casino and I have to say I must be a natural. I went in with 2 hundred and left with 3! I couldn’t believe it, but I’m not gonna get to excited cause you never know, it could be beginners luck!

My Third day in Las Vegas was going to be pretty busy. I started of with swimming in the huge imported marble pools at Caesars Palace. While I was swimming I met some other tourist, which was nice because I was sort of lonely, and they kept me company. As soon as I was too tired to swim anymore I decided that a spa sounded really good, and it was! It was incredible, after leaving there I felt fresh and new. After I got back up to my room and was looking through brochures I decided that I wanted to check out of Caesars Palace (even though it was awesome) and try another one of Las Vegas’s 5 star hotels. So I checked out of Caesars Palace and then checked in to the Monte Carlo Hotel/casino. Once I got settled into the hotel I wondered down and had dinner at Blackstone’s steak house. It was fantastic! I would say it was easily the best steak I’ve ever had.

My fourth day is the day I’ve been looking forward to my whole trip, it is my fun day. So I woke up and went down stairs to the Monte Carlo and had a good size breakfast so I had tons of energy for my fun filled day ahead of me. Today I get to go to the adventuredome at the Circus Circus hotel/casino. This was absolutely wild. It was all-indoor so I stayed all day, and I didn’t have to worry about being too cold or too hot, cause the temperature is all controlled. After I’m finished at the Adventuredome I headed down to the Circus Circus hotel/casino and look for a restaurant to have dinner at and I finally found one. I decided to have dinner at a place called Stivali Italian Restorante. At his fantastic Italian restaurant they let the sauces simmer for hours to get the full flavor. After dinner I went back to the restaurant and sat in the Jacuzzi until I couldn’t keep my eyes open, so I then drug my self of too bed, to get my sleep for my next adventurous day.

Well its here and yes it came a lot faster then I had planned. My last full day in Las Vegas! I began my day with breakfast at the most beautiful restaurant in Las Vegas, it is at the Paris hotel. After breakfast I went shopping for antiques along the strip. The shopping was unbelievable. They’re was so many stores, and such a wide variety. When I got bored of shopping for antiques I started shopping for clothes! It was tons of fun. When it started to get dark I made my way to the stratosphere tower, were I went on two rollercoasters. One was called the High Roller, and the other is called the Big Shot. The High Roller is over 100 stories high, and the Big Shot is 160 feet in the air. After I had all my excitement I headed up to the top of the tower to have supper at the revolving restaurant. It was fabulous! I had never seen anything like it. The view was incredible, it was voted the best view in Las Vegas! After I was finished supper I went for one last drive in Las Vegas, too see all the spectacular lights. All my exercise from today was making me really tired, so I decided to go back to the hotel, sit in the hot tub for awhile, and then head off to bed.

My last morning in Las Vegas I wake up early, go downstairs for a quick breakfast and coffee at the lobbies 24 hour Café. I then pack up my clothes, and check out of the Monte Carlo hotel. Now I had to get to the airport for my 10 o’clock flight. When I arrived at the airport I returned my rental car, and paid my bill. After that I was on my way back to Kelowna. Good Bye Las Vegas!!!
