Students will only be allowed to leave for emergencies or when called by the Office. Open your Bellringer journal and begin immediately. No wasted time.
2) TURN IN HOMEWORK. Turn it in on time. Turn in to the teacher unless otherwise directed.
3) START CLASSWORK. Stay on Task. Stay in your seat unless otherwise instructed. Sharpen pencils at any time as long as teacher is not giving instruction. When work is completed, read. Do not
4) DISMISSING CLASS. Students are dismissed by the teacher, not the bell. Students are expected to remain in their seats until dismissed by the teacher.
5) ABSENCES FROM CLASS. It is the student’s responsibility to obtain and complete all missed assignments or tests when absent. Pick up materials from folder. See teacher for a few minutes before or after school for further instructions.
6) TARDIES. You are expected to sign the tardy book if you arrive to class after the bell has rung. Sign out if you leave the class before the end of class. Be sure to note on the sign in sheet whether you have a pass. If you do, leave it in the tardy pass box. Excessive tardies will affect your learning, readiness, and grade and may have other consequences such as detention, etc.
7) GRADED WORK. Some assignments I will keep, others will be returned. Usually work that is to be returned will be placed in the hanging folder. Volunteers are requested to pass out papers on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Some assignments will be returned by me. For the duration of the six weeks, please keep an organized binder for your work.
