1Changes to the framework conditions in the project’s environment

General framework conditions

Please describe and assess any changes that have occurred in the framework conditions compared to the starting situation (e.g. political, statutory or economic developments in the country of implementation and at international level, for instance within the context of UNFCCC negotiations, support in society for changes envisaged by the project or resistance against such changes, etc.) and their impacts upon the project.

Cause/effect hypothesesand risks

Please review and, if appropriate, re-assess the cause/effect hypotheses that were presented in the project proposal: Can the project goals still be achieved with the planned measures? Is it necessary to modify measures or goals?

Please review and, if appropriate, re-assess the risks that were presented in the project proposal: Have any new risks emerged in the course of project implementation? Please appraise for each risk the probability of occurrence, the extent of impact, and the degree to which the project can influence the risk.

Cooperation environment

Please present synergies, cooperation or overlap with and any other links to further relevant projects promoted by IKI or other donors that have emerged during the reporting period.

2Attainment of specific project goals (outputs) and overarching project goals (outcomes)

Please updatethe project planning and monitoring table. If expedient, statements supplementing this table can be made here (e.g. statements on assumptions, comments or explanations on the indicators and their status, and comments on project monitoring methods, activities and sources).

Specific notes on updating theproject planning and monitoring table:

-Please state the target and baseline values for each indicator.

-In the ‘Current situation’ line in the ‘Outputs (specific project goals)’ and ‘Outcome (overarching project goal)’ columns, please state the situation at the end of the reporting period.

-Please update and specify, if necessary, the statements on impacts and co-benefits.

Projects that did not submit a project planning and monitoring tablewith the project proposal:Please list all goal indicators of the project proposal and state the respective target and baseline values as well as the verification sources. Please provide a brief appraisal of the status of attainment of each indicator. This presentation should note the measures taken to monitor results.

Please explain any modifications to project planning.

3Project progress in terms of work packages

For projects that were planned in accordance with the results logic and for which output indicators were formulated, please fill in the following table for each specific project goal (output) with associated work package as presented in the project proposal. The statements on outputs and indicators can be taken from the project planning and monitoring table.

For projects that were not planned in accordance with the results logic and for which therefore no output indicators were formulated, please use the following table to present the work packages and interim results in line with the project proposal and to state the associated activities. The ‘Specific project goal (output)’ and ‘Indicator’ fields can remain empty if these are not definitely attributable to the work packages.

Work package: Number and title of work package as in project proposal
Specific project goal (output):Title as in project proposal
