All praise to Allah (God). We are pleased to announce that Muslim Women United will celebrate its twenty-third – 24th year conference from June 5th to June 7th, 2015. Over the last twenty- four years, supporters like you have been a part of our journey and endeavors. We cordially invite you to continue to be a part of our success. The conference will be held at the Doubletree Hilton Midlothian (formerly the Holiday Inn Koger Center), at 1021 Koger Center Blvd., Richmond, Virginia 23235.

We have planned an exciting twenty-third year week-end celebration for our participants in a festive atmosphere. There will be spiritually fulfilling workshops, a speaker presentation, “shop-til-u-drop”, indoor swimming, and plenty of networking with our sisters. The conference theme this year is “The Sunnah – the Better”. The Sunnah is the living example and practice of our dearly beloved Prophet Muhammad (may Allah be pleased with him). The Quran says….. And whosoever obeys Allah and His Messenger, he has indeed achieved a great achievement (33:71).

The conference week-end begins on Friday afternoon (June 5th) with a small meet and greet reception at the hotel for our guests. Saturday (June 6th) is a full day of conferencing. We start at 9:00 a. m. and continue until 10:00 p.m. A Sunday morning (June 7th) brunch will be served as the conference conclusion.

Last year over 200 sisters attended the conference from the metro Richmond, Washington, DC, Maryland, North Carolina, New York and New Jersey areas. We have planned to increase the number of attendees this year, by an extended outreach to the community of Muslim Women. Once again, we are soliciting advertisements for placement in our Ad Journal. The life of the ad journal extends beyond the conference attendees. This journal is shared with families and friends with an extended readership eight times the initial number of handouts.
