Atlantic recording artistJason Mrazhas announced early details of his upcominginternationaltour – a unique itinerary that will see themulti-GRAMMY®Award-winning singer/songwriter performing in an array of intimate venues around the world. The dates celebrate Mraz’s new album, “YES!,” which arrives everywhere on July 15th.
The “YES!” tour – which finds Mraz teaming up with his longtime friends and “YES!” collaborators, Raining Jane – gets underway this August with a series of intimate North American shows and surprise multi-show runs in select cities. Complete information will be unveiled soon. Mraz will then head to Europe, where he is set to appear in such historic theatres and concert halls as London’s Royal Albert Hall, Paris’ Casino de Paris, and Amsterdam’s Royal Theatre Carré (see attached itinerary). “YES” marks what is perhaps the most unexpected and accomplished collection of the San Diego-based troubadour’s already extraordinary career. Mraz is heralding “YES!” by releasing a new track every Monday through the album’s eagerly awaited arrival. Highlights include the set’s first single, “Love Someone,” which is available now at all DSPs. Fans pre-ordering “YES!” will receive automatic instant grat downloads of all the “Mraz Monday” tracks as they are released. In addition, Mraz and Raining Jane – who only recently traveled the West Coast together on a sold-out concert tour – will perform on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” on Thursday, July 17th followed by a live set on NBC’sTODAYwith a “Toyota Concert Series” show broadcast from New York’s Rockefeller Center on Friday, July 18th. The appearances follows Mraz’s recent performance of “Love Someone” on the live season finale of Fox’sAmerican Idol.
